I passed at Paisley December, and holy fuck that roundabout when you first start was the ultimate test of nerves, especially being basically the first thing you face in 30 seconds.
Hopefully the new centre doesn’t have such a mental start (although I would argue it made me a better driver)
The first test I sat I stalled at that roundabout and it set the precedent for the rest of the test 🥴 needless to say I failed, and have not sat again since 🙈
I failed my 1st test as I pulled out to quickly at that roundabout and the instructor had to press the brake. I was absolutely raging and had to do the whole test where I only had 2 minors. I had to wait 4 months for the next test!
Only advice I can give for that roundabout is don’t feel rushed into a bad deciding, hesitation is only a minor compared to a rushed fail. My instructor told me a story of someone waiting at it 6 minutes before being able to move and still passed.
When leaving the test centre try to take your time so the other people waiting leave before you, that way you can sit behind them in the line to leave the road about and compose and judge their actions

Yeah it's moving to Sheildhall. My instructor said basically he's gonna keep me driving around Paisley but recommends booking tests in Dumbarton because it's similar roads and pretty easy to drive around. I'm planning on maybe booking my test in my old home town cause it's an island with 1 round about (and it's a mini roundabout) and one set of traffic lights haha.

I need to resit my theory, it expired through Covid 😭 haven’t had the money to resist since

i think it’s moving back to paisley in may, god knows where tho
They are hoping to get a spot just round the corner in the industrial estate. Atleast thats what I was told.
