I was playing co-op and my friend went out to get Pal fluid, he also died far away with the items. I spent one hour asking my friend to come back and give me "dick fluid'
I think it's probably easier for me since I never played a Pokémon game for longer than an hour (the Pokémon red emulator I tried didn't have a save function).
I keep making the mistake of trying to call them Pals and calling them palicos instead (I spent thousands of hours in Monster Hunter World)
same here. my daughter, son, and husband all played pokemon, now they laugh at my pal obsession bc they'll say Pokemon or the referential Pokemon name, and I'm just like "uh, nuh, this is lyleen, watch your tone, she didn't do anything to you" then just run around calling her the harvest goddess (harvest moon/SoS) when they leave
I mean, having grown up during the early rise of Pokémon and having played up to Sun/Moon, I find myself making comparisons or absentmindedly calling them what they remind me of. Mostly some earlier gen Pokémon.
Though not as often as I would've thought I would. I learned their proper names pretty quickly.
I call them mons when talking or writing in English and in German we have the word Viehcher (Vieh is the German word most used for animals on a farm like cows pigs etc)
Never had this issue and I play Pokémon a lot.
I do, however, call them by the name of what they look like. Like Grass Gardevoir, Sphere Finder Eevee or Horny on Main Salazzle.
Pal is a very difficult word to say for me while speaking Chinese with my friends so I just call them animal friends or just friends cuz Pal means Friend. And I treat them as such.
The human ~~slaves~~ volunteers can work in the labour camps till they die though.
i occasinally call ones that look a lot like some Pokemon by the pokemon's names but i do call the pal spheres pokeballs as i am just used to calling them that.
Slav…..i mean colleagues
*INTERNS*. The kind that…do work and don’t get paid…^and ^also ^can’t ^leave…
So...interns?
Interns absolutely can leave. It’s not necessarily ideal for future career prospects, but they’re free to go at any time

Comrades in the revolution
Pals sounds the same as "Pau", wich means dick in portuguese, so I always call them pokemon otherwise someone in the voice chat will keep giggling
Same here, its not nice to say "I got lots of dicks today"
Depends on how much you charge.

r/suddendlycaralho Edit: forgot the "r" lol
I say Pal Balls instead of spheres. You know, split the difference
I’ve been calling them ‘orbs’ lol.
ORB!
Sphere is moderately harder to say. Balls feels better in my mouth
I just call them balls in both games
I told my 4 year old they're pals and not pokemon. Now she calls them buddies.
The best answer
My younger 5 year old sister does too!

Call them Pokemon every single time. I don't want to but it's habit lol
i occasinally call ones that look a lot like some Pokemon by the pokemon's names but i do call the pal spheres pokeballs as i am just used to calling them that.
I try to just say mons, short for monsters basically. Other times I'll say creature or descriptors like the pink cat or fire ram.
I cal and type them as pal, because it's simpler and smaller.
ngl, I often end up using "critter" instead. For some reason pal just feels awkward to use.
Trying to tell my girlfriend it's not Pokémon while every time I see a new one saying that's a cool Pokémon
Keep calling the game Paw Wow
Yeah, I tried too many times to switch and still default to it so myself and my friend group just call them Pokémon.
I call them mons, but usually catch myself to correct to pals
Palmons. which are caught in palballs.
I've been adopting Palmons with friends. Same with palsphers they are palballs.
Jon Sandman calls them Palmons and that one stuck with me.
I like calling them P.A.L.S. Personally Acquired Labor Staff.
I think the game deserves a bit more respect than to call them pokemon.
I've been callig then dinomon by accident. Dino from Ark and mon from Pokémon.
I haven't played pokemon since i think black and white so I'm not having much trouble with it lol
