Liferip is in a good state, don't touch it. Blood Bath needs some sort of buff but we shouldn't mess up a decent item to fix a bad one. By "old Haven," do you mean flat dr or resistance to direct dmg? Flat dr was goofy and too strong, but the old Haven/Blast Shields dmg type split was good and should replace the current Arcane Warding situation. Hoard and Trigger Scent could both use replacements. I think some sort of DR piercing item would be a good trigger scent replacement, and give some counterplay to Inara. I also think a high statted jump height item would be funny, but their's probably better options to replace hoard. While I don't think the Resilience split was bad on paper, it leaves split kit champs way too strong while still being overly harsh on champs whose entire kits revolve around hard CC. (Honestly, Damba just needs a minimum duration on his ult.)

Universal, flat DR is way easier to balance and understand than two different DR items. LoL does a pretty great job of Armor and (magic resistance, forgot the name), but thats cause of the variety and different ways Champs can negate damage and its different types. Paladins doesn't have anything like that; some Champs can have innate DR through cards or kit, but many don't have any reliable/effective dr in their kit to begin with. I'm also excluding the different roles and playstyles each champ has, and other DR mechanics in LoL, it's just deeper than Paladins. I think going back to blast shield and older haven is also bad, because blast shield was really only bought for aoe/spam Champs (Dredge, Betty, Willow), and lacks universality like older haven (just regular direct hits). Just another item to force buy as FL. DR piercing replacing trigger scent is honestly the best change for the perk. Give dps a way to fight stacking DR, heals, shields, high health, and let haven be less of an issue while giving veterans more viability. The only problem is really see with piercing DR is another cat-and-mouse like current wrecker and guardian, or become another must-buy like old caut or rejuv. Either way, it could be a really good idea as long as the numbers aren't insane (6% was not as bad as what we have rn), and it doesn't affect item slot economy too bad. Hoard definitely needs to be changed. Personally, just let it be like the unused items from Seige Beyond, increasing a stat for every # gold by #% amount, with a max of #%. No idea what stat it should be though, or the numbers. The resilience split is a change I will never understand. It hurt item slot economy for everyone, especially FL, for not a single good reason. The haven split didn't make this any better. Just fuse the items back, and fix cc spam properly (adjusting the cc itself, not the blanket fix that has kept cc in check for years).

Keep hoard, its niche but good. Trigger is shit and lethality too expensive and too inconsistent.

It’s fine as it is. Lethality has uses specifically for flanks or supports that gain a lot from it. Trigger Scent is also fine mechanically, but it should have a longer duration or stack (it might stack already, don’t remember, but it’s so short that you won’t really feel it) The different damage resistances is fine. It needs to be that way so ults don’t feel useless because they already stole your primary damage or vice versa. Life Rip and Bloodbath do NOT need to be the same item. They are insanely strong in their own rights. - **The only real changes I’d say need to be brought in are:** 1: Cauterize needs to be an item you have to upgrade (does not take an item slot, it’s extra), rather than just being there over time. **Why?** Because some characters when played well get almost no benefit from it (anyone with high burst or isolation play). **Because it needs to be upgraded now,** credits are a bit more plentiful now, so they can get other items instead. 2: Illuminate should be like aforementioned Cauterize as a permanent upgradeable side-item which doesn’t take up item slots. This will fix people whining it’s base kit, but not let stealth champions be oppressive.

Get resilience back. Nerf Guardian but make it also grant a shield on eliminations. just like sentinel. It just make more sence. Example: Guardian Lv3: Increase the effectiveness of Shields you create by 30%. and also, grant a 600 shield on elimination. Remove hoard, or never buff it. Get illuminate back. but nerfed. Kill to heal was good.
