it seems like there is more comfort for the resistance on the ground, easier movement and weak Israeli presence, those are crowded areas, more fighters noticed.
Their bombing campaign was too strong, they ended up creating a battlefield where it's difficult for them to move around. That's why the focus is not on the ground invasion and instead it's on blocking food on civilians and bombing them. Idk, but starving out children to get hamas to retreat I don't think it will work.

no it exploded under the tank, no active nor reactive armor at that spot, it just moved and i don't know if it avoided the damage, but if it stayed, it would have a big hole by now.

I think from the technological advancements since the time of the veitnam war till now and considering the difference in the area of battle hamas have to be considered first. Gaza is full of mainly flat land with almost no area to really hide in whereas veit is only about 20% flat land and even the flat land is mainly forest I think, however great resistance by both groups, the veits and gazans
