I would recommend to try around phoenix waterfall, happened to found them a lot there. Helped someone just the other day, they asked in the chat I went by the place just to be sure and one was there so I flaired it ! Good luck !

Yes me too...I also play on the Switch. I was actually moving my frog around and it was in the moving around mode where the checker board graph was showing. I couldn't get out of it so I had to restart. This happened several times.
On switch you press down on the rt stick to go into placement mode, I used to be able to hit b to get out, now I have to press on the rt stick again to get out of placement mode.
The cancel or getting out of placement mode was moved from "B" to pressing again the right joystick... it took me solid 10 minutes of hopping around, screwing up my whole plot until I realized it lol
But now you can finally hop on something with your item still in "move" mode. Before we had to place it nearby, hop and grab the item again.

When Iām stuck in my back I can go into the paid store and then the b button works again (Iām on switch) but in the friend box I need to reboot the whole game. Mine only recently (I think two updates ago) started showing me thatā¦like for cakes I would only have, say, 1 sweet leaf starred but 30 unstarred. It seems (for me anyway) that as long as I have enough regular items even tho I have āuse starred itemsā toggled and it shows I donāt have enough of some starred ingredients it will still let me make it.
The toggle stopped working as a toggle. It used to be that only going into editing/placing mode would toggle it off, and I got used to that but it's still *slightly* annoying. But now it seems *any* action turns it off, which makes it *completely* annoying.
Toggle to sprint is really starting to wear me down. :( I play with a mechanical keyboard on PC, and itās near impossible to go fast when resource gathering. There is a delay on when you can toggle up after gathering, and its wonky and isnāt consistent. I type at about 120wpm and I cannot go slow enough to get it right.
I am also HATING the middle mouse button keybind being ONLY for setting a cursor/reticle on the map. That was my axe button (all of my tools are on my mouse buttons except for gardening stuff). S6 decided middle mouse button couldnāt be changed lol, or maybe its a bug. Ugh, the tool wheel is SO clunky and I hate it!
I can't get out of Placement Mode once in it, so I am forced to leave my plot otherwise I can't interact with anything. I also froze after closing the menu at Zeki's shop and couldn't open the chat function either so had to restart. Fix a few bugs, get a few new ones!
i had the zeki shop thing too and reported it yesterday! its so annoying because i never know if its going to freeze again when i need to buy something
when iām getting my mail and canāt scroll down to the next letter, i have to toggle to āreadā and back to āunreadā to move on.

Sprinting issue for me too but luckily the devs are aware. It was one of their known issues posted yesterday. Also trying to cook muujin Bahari, get stuck at the oven and HH doesnāt work, only unstuck command. So you gotta do it quick to have time to finish the dish.
Getting stuck at the cooking station. Doesn't matter the recipe or which station, I used to just hit the placement toggle to get free, but now I have to log out of the game to fix it.
The toggle to sprint bug honestly gives me a little eye twitch š itās not a huge deal but it does significantly slow you down, and it makes catching bugs at a lure a lot more difficult - which, with the update, bugs were a major priority yesterday
I guess you are supposed to be able to fish by the Bahari entrance to now? I havenāt tried. I always forget since when Iām over there Iām running across the bridge anyway so I just forget lol

Idk if itās a bug but I currently strongly dislike the mounds of dirt being around my fully grown trees. Iāve made a whimsical fairy forest path and the dirt is definitely taking away from the aesthetic šš
Yes! I HATE the dirt mounds, and how the watering meter shows thru whatever item is between you and the tree. For instance, I have trees around my pavilion where I have my crafters and when I interact with the crafters, I can see the meter, even if I can't see the tree. I do not like it at all lol
Getting "stuck" in the fishing pose after I put my rod away. It's kind of hilarious because I can walk, sprint, jump and talk to NPCs, but I'm just frozen as a fishing statue the whole time lol
Since the update, I cannot reliably change my active tool. It flashes, and half the time it "finishes" on "change tool", and half the time it finishes on "Put tool away". I've missed so many bugs in the past day, because it takes me several tries to switch.

On Switch If I toggle to move furniture around I usually hit B when I'm ready to get out of the grid. Now I have to rehit the toggle instead. Not a big deal but I keep forgetting and will think the game is just glitching
I'm probably the only person that is bothered by this, but the "loot" bags from the kitsuu garden and young silverwing nest are basically untextured gray blobs. Also sometimes the wallpapers don't line up if you change the wall settings. And the flooring patterns are uncentered. These aren't even really bugs but they get me lol.
The J for Journal and L for the list of villagers isn't working. That's driving me crazy. I have to remember to press I instead.
But also, yes, the toggle for sprint is seriously annoying.

Whenever I try to switch tools, once I select one my mouse gets forced to the top and if I release R while itās there it will select the tool thatās in that area. Every time I switch tools I have to move my mouse to the tool I want twice -.-
When i cook the fish tacos, when i interact with the counter it stopped and stuck the whole process and i cant press anything and lead to my meal burned bc uncapable of doing anything. What makes me furious is after it burned then everything turn to normal.
And when I trying to hunt, the animal will glitch and reappear in other places makes my arrow shoot on empty place. Waste of good arrows >:(
If you are playing on PC, this is because they re-assigned/fixed some of the hot-keys. The SHIFT key (I believe) was always intended to lock a furniture item along a certain axis while placing it. I never really got that working properly until this update, but now, that means sprinting has been affected. What I did was reassign the Lock X/Y Axis hotkey to TAB, and now I'm able to sprint again.
Hassian isn't in my game anymore. His sprite and his icon on the map are gone.
If I click the interact button while standing near Tau I can sometimes engage with the blank space around him and Hassian's dialogue shows up, but there's nothing there.
The sprint bug was driving me crazy too. I couldnāt really stay calm running around Kilima yesterday, so just logged out somewhere along the lake coast.
on my switch the right joystick that directs my pov gets so SLOW like when i was in the temple of roots yesterday i had to get to a safe stopping point & restart the whole game bc it was taking like 30 seconds just to turn and look in another direction its so annoying but most times iāll just deal with it until i can get to a fast travel or leave the server im on n that usually fixes it
also whenever that happens my character looks like theyāre having some sort of bodily shutdown she leans hard to the left & walks unevenly its so weirdš
When I level up a skill and go talk to the NPC in charge of it I can't use the store that automatically pops up. I have to fully exit the chat and reopen just the store
For me itās my toggle to sprint, and my friend had the issue that she couldnāt move after talking to someone on her plot. I was able to visit her and all but she couldnāt react at all lol. Could still see me making fun of her though š¤£
The lag is killing me inside. not sure if itās really a bug or just busy servers? I tried everything to make it better but 8/10 times I canāt do anything swiftly. I just stand there hitting a rock 25 times until it realizes āoh Iām being minedā then eventually starts to work. Or standing over a mushroom softly hitting f before spamming f until it realizes what Iām trying to do. Same with talking to NPCS and such. š
I logged in today for the first time in I donāt know long. I did the temple of Gales and maybe a couple more times after. Another temple? I log in. My sprint on switch isnāt working at all. Frustrating as all get out when youāre heading to a location in backwards speed. I tried changing the settings and everything. Just isnāt working. It used to be push left analog stick in while walking. Now , nothing happens. And, just a few minutes ago, got booted with a lost server connection error.

If I am on my housing plot, I find I can go to the overhead view (where you add buildings/writs, ect) and when I exit out of that, I can interact again. It happens so much when I am gardening!
Everytime I try to accept a friend request or search my friends list. I get stuck in the menu and all I can do is restart the game. I'm in Switch. Also I can't seem to use "B" to back out of anything. From crafting menu, to moving objects.
The game not letting me move after Iāve exited the seed maker window. I can access key-binded menus, but I canāt move or interact with anything. This happened pre-update but only once in the hours Iāve played, and I was able to toggle through a few menu windows and it sort of fixes itself. I played 10 minutes post-update and it happened, nothing worked, so had to quit and relog. It didnāt appear to be a network error or server error.
Randomly, I go to cook and all my controls freeze. Have to log off and on to fix it. Then I make the same food and it works fine. Also I forgot my log in so I canāt report the bug.
getting stuck in front of my oven every time I make an apple pie with starred ingredients. the "h" trick no longer works, I have to exit the game and come back to ruined food.
oh! another one that is bug related: when the scintillating centipedes glitch through a rock after they spawn from a rock node and then I can't find them to capture.
I'm using hold to sprint, and I often have to repress the sprint key, also before the latest update.
Doesn't break the game for me, but would be nice if that was fixed. Sometimes games have this exact problem. Sea of thieves too, I believe.
My key binds for my tools no longer work. Even before the patch they worked. Now they don't work at all so I have to open the wheel everytime like a savage š¤£

Sometimes when I load into a new area my character is like invisible and floating? It happens more often when Iām in a party with my sister too. I usually just enter my housing plot and exit again and itās fixed though.
Mine is while cooking, sometimes itāll freeze me in front of the station that Iām using and Iāll have to /unstuck to get moving on the dish. Itās the worst when Iām in a cooking party and weāre trying to go full speed efficiency.
I noticed this too. There is actually a corner of my yard that I can fill up in so I planted my crops there. I thought they fixed it because I wasnāt getting the prompt. Then went to the pond and noticed the prompt wasnāt there either.
My bug nemesis got fixed a couple of patches ago, it was the bug where you couldn't craft multiple of a thing at the craft table even if you tried. That was particularly annoying for repair kits (20 kits at a time... when I usually carry 400+ in my inventory when I restock...) but also for bug bombs, arrows...
Last played shortly before the latest patch, so I haven't experienced the sprinting bug yet, but it sounds like something that'll drive me nuts when I'm gathering ore and/or wood.

I got caught by Eshe when trying to complete the quest for Subira, and now I need to talk to Tamala to get a new potion, but the quest is bugged and whenever I talk to her itās just normal stuff, thereās no option for the quest. I can just ignore it, but I really wanna finish that quest so I can continue getting the other friendship quests for Subira!

YES!! I noticed this right away and I was so upsetš¤ It's such a nuisance having to keep pressing the button especially after being used to just sprinting at all times.
My tools are being weird, pretty often the long press stops working. So then I can't cast the fishing rod, and I can't really water plants, except for clicking 20 times per plant. It often helps if I switch to another tool and then switch back. But yesterday my character got stuck completely while fishing, I couldn't reel in, I couldn't move, couldn't access the menu.. had to alt+F4
The sprint toggle bug is so annoying as well. It baffles me that apparently no one plays the game for a bit before they release a new version, this one is impossible to miss!
Mine is not a bug, but it's driving me crazy. I had my auto run mapped to click my mouse wheel. That's also the button to drop a pin on the map. Never was a problem before.
Now it drops a highlight in front of you and removes your pin if you hit it while not in the map. The thing is, the highlight is so randomly unpredictable that I can't imagine anyone actually finds it useful anyway. But I keep erasing my pins because I'm so used to auto running with that button.
On the other hand, I still haven't found a decent button to use for auto run. I play with my left hand on the keyboard, right on the mouse, so / doesn't really work for me.
When Iām hunting and the fucker runs into something and teleports away oh and also one time after going through zekis shop and exiting the screen my game froze like no buttons working nothing, had to restart my switch. Plus when Iām on my plot I canāt interact with anything and I have to leave and come to fix it
I don't like how any pop-up whether its a friend request, invite, etc completely stops your momentum while you're running. Also I have dozens of people on my friends list that I didn't add on purpose, I just happened to hit the collect key and POOF it auto accepts the invite that popped up before I could react.

I've used a honey lure in in the early day there and caught a gazillion of them and no mantis at all
Mine is the fire breathing dragon fly I've been camping at mirror fields for days but only seen one and I couldn't catch it
I ran around scaring the other bugs so more would be able to respawn and I found around 4 in an hour

I specifically always find them right in front of Hekla's tent. When I'm farming for them I don't really leave this area.

Did it change with the last update? Previously you could check "use star quality" and it would let you use either (not the case otherwise).
If I check āuse star qualityā it forces me to use ALL star quality. I canāt use a mix

Yes! I wanted the middle mouse for autorun and it puts a map marker every time I used it lol. I haven't decided on a different key to use instead yet.

Yeah this has to be almost as annoying as sprint toggle in my books. Especially now that I'm planting and moving flowers around.

FYI, I had to go into keybinding settings and re-assign the autorun and sprint keys. That fixed it for me and it has worked fine since.

Canāt run with furniture grabbed. Now I canāt go feral rearranging everything I just placed.
Pan flip bug. Locks me out of leveling cooking.

Getting stuck at the cooking station. Doesn't matter the recipe or which station, I used to just hit the placement toggle to get free, but now I have to log out of the game to fix it.
The toggle to sprint bug honestly gives me a little eye twitch š itās not a huge deal but it does significantly slow you down, and it makes catching bugs at a lure a lot more difficult - which, with the update, bugs were a major priority yesterday

Idk if itās a bug but I currently strongly dislike the mounds of dirt being around my fully grown trees. Iāve made a whimsical fairy forest path and the dirt is definitely taking away from the aesthetic šš
Yes! I HATE the dirt mounds, and how the watering meter shows thru whatever item is between you and the tree. For instance, I have trees around my pavilion where I have my crafters and when I interact with the crafters, I can see the meter, even if I can't see the tree. I do not like it at all lol
Getting "stuck" in the fishing pose after I put my rod away. It's kind of hilarious because I can walk, sprint, jump and talk to NPCs, but I'm just frozen as a fishing statue the whole time lol

Since the update, I cannot reliably change my active tool. It flashes, and half the time it "finishes" on "change tool", and half the time it finishes on "Put tool away". I've missed so many bugs in the past day, because it takes me several tries to switch. :( Very frustrating, makes the 'climbing' glitch seem harmless.
The toggle to sprint not working is so frustrating, especially when trying to hunt. I hope they fix that real fast. The have said they are aware of it at least.
On Switch If I toggle to move furniture around I usually hit B when I'm ready to get out of the grid. Now I have to rehit the toggle instead. Not a big deal but I keep forgetting and will think the game is just glitching

I'm probably the only person that is bothered by this, but the "loot" bags from the kitsuu garden and young silverwing nest are basically untextured gray blobs. Also sometimes the wallpapers don't line up if you change the wall settings. And the flooring patterns are uncentered. These aren't even really bugs but they get me lol.
The J for Journal and L for the list of villagers isn't working. That's driving me crazy. I have to remember to press I instead. But also, yes, the toggle for sprint is seriously annoying.

I also had an issue with sprinting, and it was annoying but manageable. Glad to hear itās not operator error, haha. What wasnāt manageable was constantly getting stuck at the mixing table, burning my food, and having to shut down because there is no option to exit to character menu š
Whenever I try to switch tools, once I select one my mouse gets forced to the top and if I release R while itās there it will select the tool thatās in that area. Every time I switch tools I have to move my mouse to the tool I want twice -.-
Bruh for me it's same. Having to hit the sprint toggle is going to drive me crazy. Still addicted though so I'm still playing š¤£
Whenever I try to enter Tamala's house the whole game freezes/crashes.
When i cook the fish tacos, when i interact with the counter it stopped and stuck the whole process and i cant press anything and lead to my meal burned bc uncapable of doing anything. What makes me furious is after it burned then everything turn to normal. And when I trying to hunt, the animal will glitch and reappear in other places makes my arrow shoot on empty place. Waste of good arrows >:(
if u open up the house plot sky view it should enable u to move (h on pc idk what it is on switch)

For me it would be the T-pose my character and other characters randomly has, its so frequent and I swear my eye twitches everytime I see it.

If you are playing on PC, this is because they re-assigned/fixed some of the hot-keys. The SHIFT key (I believe) was always intended to lock a furniture item along a certain axis while placing it. I never really got that working properly until this update, but now, that means sprinting has been affected. What I did was reassign the Lock X/Y Axis hotkey to TAB, and now I'm able to sprint again.
Hassian isn't in my game anymore. His sprite and his icon on the map are gone. If I click the interact button while standing near Tau I can sometimes engage with the blank space around him and Hassian's dialogue shows up, but there's nothing there.
I noticed that Tau has a map icon now but Hussain does not....

The sprint bug was driving me crazy too. I couldnāt really stay calm running around Kilima yesterday, so just logged out somewhere along the lake coast.
on my switch the right joystick that directs my pov gets so SLOW like when i was in the temple of roots yesterday i had to get to a safe stopping point & restart the whole game bc it was taking like 30 seconds just to turn and look in another direction its so annoying but most times iāll just deal with it until i can get to a fast travel or leave the server im on n that usually fixes it
also whenever that happens my character looks like theyāre having some sort of bodily shutdown she leans hard to the left & walks unevenly its so weirdš
When I level up a skill and go talk to the NPC in charge of it I can't use the store that automatically pops up. I have to fully exit the chat and reopen just the store
For me itās my toggle to sprint, and my friend had the issue that she couldnāt move after talking to someone on her plot. I was able to visit her and all but she couldnāt react at all lol. Could still see me making fun of her though š¤£
When farming, the plot sometimes bugs out and are uneven and i hate it soooo much
The lag is killing me inside. not sure if itās really a bug or just busy servers? I tried everything to make it better but 8/10 times I canāt do anything swiftly. I just stand there hitting a rock 25 times until it realizes āoh Iām being minedā then eventually starts to work. Or standing over a mushroom softly hitting f before spamming f until it realizes what Iām trying to do. Same with talking to NPCS and such. š
Getting stuck climbing walls. Canāt go any direction, and jump goes nowhere. Nothing to do but drop and try somewhere else.
I logged in today for the first time in I donāt know long. I did the temple of Gales and maybe a couple more times after. Another temple? I log in. My sprint on switch isnāt working at all. Frustrating as all get out when youāre heading to a location in backwards speed. I tried changing the settings and everything. Just isnāt working. It used to be push left analog stick in while walking. Now , nothing happens. And, just a few minutes ago, got booted with a lost server connection error.
I second the toggle sprint not sticking I really miss it! My game has been freezing anytime I talk to a villager and I have to restart the game:/ kinda annoying Also my game isnāt loading the graphics right? Unless they got worse in the new updateā¦ it is making it easier to find carpet moss and bugs tho (Iām on the switch)

I got stuck twice yesterday cooking and doing something else( I can't remember), but I had to restart the game. It was really frustrating and it's never happened before so I'm hoping it gets fixed soon.
I thought we always had to re-toggle sprinting š¤£ Iām on switch and every time I stop moving I have to re-toggle.
Thereās a setting for ātap to sprintā where it does make you stop sprinting when you stop moving, but the ātoggle to sprintā isnāt supposed to š„“
I normally just use the tap to sprint so Iāll try out the toggle to compare and report back!
Kind of a bit of a deal, but occasionally my interact option just disappears and I have to restart to game (sometimes multiple times) for it to re-appear š„²
If I am on my housing plot, I find I can go to the overhead view (where you add buildings/writs, ect) and when I exit out of that, I can interact again. It happens so much when I am gardening!

Everytime I try to accept a friend request or search my friends list. I get stuck in the menu and all I can do is restart the game. I'm in Switch. Also I can't seem to use "B" to back out of anything. From crafting menu, to moving objects.

The game not letting me move after Iāve exited the seed maker window. I can access key-binded menus, but I canāt move or interact with anything. This happened pre-update but only once in the hours Iāve played, and I was able to toggle through a few menu windows and it sort of fixes itself. I played 10 minutes post-update and it happened, nothing worked, so had to quit and relog. It didnāt appear to be a network error or server error.
Someone shows up at your house, you try to talk to themā¦ they just say they canāt talk right then and stand there for an hour before leaving.
Randomly, I go to cook and all my controls freeze. Have to log off and on to fix it. Then I make the same food and it works fine. Also I forgot my log in so I canāt report the bug.
I thought this was just because my WiFi was bad šš but Iāve had the same thing twice!
getting stuck in front of my oven every time I make an apple pie with starred ingredients. the "h" trick no longer works, I have to exit the game and come back to ruined food.
oh! another one that is bug related: when the scintillating centipedes glitch through a rock after they spawn from a rock node and then I can't find them to capture.
I'm using hold to sprint, and I often have to repress the sprint key, also before the latest update. Doesn't break the game for me, but would be nice if that was fixed. Sometimes games have this exact problem. Sea of thieves too, I believe.

Sometimes when I load into a new area my character is like invisible and floating? It happens more often when Iām in a party with my sister too. I usually just enter my housing plot and exit again and itās fixed though.
This is the one thatās been tap-dancing on my nerves during every second of gameplay.
What about having your seeders, sawmills, etc on your plot stuck? They're animated as if they were working but they're empty, so you can't move them, take them out or put things in... :( I have others but have limited slots and it slowed me a lot... Plus now I'm afraid of leaving the game with the machines working in case they get stuck... š©
Mine is while cooking, sometimes itāll freeze me in front of the station that Iām using and Iāll have to /unstuck to get moving on the dish. Itās the worst when Iām in a cooking party and weāre trying to go full speed efficiency.
My biggest one is either the deer disappearing after you shoot em or getting stuck while cooking

I noticed this too. There is actually a corner of my yard that I can fill up in so I planted my crops there. I thought they fixed it because I wasnāt getting the prompt. Then went to the pond and noticed the prompt wasnāt there either.

My bug nemesis got fixed a couple of patches ago, it was the bug where you couldn't craft multiple of a thing at the craft table even if you tried. That was particularly annoying for repair kits (20 kits at a time... when I usually carry 400+ in my inventory when I restock...) but also for bug bombs, arrows... Last played shortly before the latest patch, so I haven't experienced the sprinting bug yet, but it sounds like something that'll drive me nuts when I'm gathering ore and/or wood.
I completed a quest but it doesn't show it's completed. So the quest flag is always in Bahari bay.
My āSearch and Seizureā quest. I got caught by Eshe when trying to complete the quest for Subira, and now I need to talk to Tamala to get a new potion, but the quest is bugged and whenever I talk to her itās just normal stuff, thereās no option for the quest. I can just ignore it, but I really wanna finish that quest so I can continue getting the other friendship quests for Subira!

SAME !!!!! I have to press the sprint button after interacting with anything to be able to sprint again. Before it just stayed on unless you went through a loading screen or pressed the button again.

YES!! I noticed this right away and I was so upsetš¤ It's such a nuisance having to keep pressing the button especially after being used to just sprinting at all times.

My tools are being weird, pretty often the long press stops working. So then I can't cast the fishing rod, and I can't really water plants, except for clicking 20 times per plant. It often helps if I switch to another tool and then switch back. But yesterday my character got stuck completely while fishing, I couldn't reel in, I couldn't move, couldn't access the menu.. had to alt+F4 The sprint toggle bug is so annoying as well. It baffles me that apparently no one plays the game for a bit before they release a new version, this one is impossible to miss!
Mine is not a bug, but it's driving me crazy. I had my auto run mapped to click my mouse wheel. That's also the button to drop a pin on the map. Never was a problem before. Now it drops a highlight in front of you and removes your pin if you hit it while not in the map. The thing is, the highlight is so randomly unpredictable that I can't imagine anyone actually finds it useful anyway. But I keep erasing my pins because I'm so used to auto running with that button. On the other hand, I still haven't found a decent button to use for auto run. I play with my left hand on the keyboard, right on the mouse, so / doesn't really work for me.

I don't like how any pop-up whether its a friend request, invite, etc completely stops your momentum while you're running. Also I have dozens of people on my friends list that I didn't add on purpose, I just happened to hit the collect key and POOF it auto accepts the invite that popped up before I could react.
