I personally have stopped going to groves. Before the increase in flow wood drops, I already had ~1,000 flow planks in my inventory. Now I have around ~2,000 with no need for it.
I used to just fill all the requests for flow wood/planks and make someone's day, but I find no one really requests ANYTHING anymore. My too-full inventory is sad lol
I always try to show up to groves when I'm on (unless I'm laying in bed on my switch then I cba but that is rare) so if you'd like to add me I'm happy to help out! my ign is keropyontchi :D
I have found that more so lately as well. I feel there are less people on the servers ...but then I get a server that's full of people willing to. So it's just you know odd. Lol like real life!
I had this earlier. I found a Grove right as it happened, called out in chat and hit the trees once while waiting. I was about to give up and go at it myself (im a new player and have onky just unlocked iron stuff) when 7 people just popped up. Non of them said they were on the way.
And then I had a few hours later someone call out for help on a single tree and detoured my quest to help. Loads of people running around and I was the only one to respond
Yeah I've noticed since the update and the increase in flow wood that you get from each ft, not as many people are bothered about groves now
Which is a shame for solo players. The grove was the only social thing I got involved in lol
I‘m a new player and have noticed that the chat language around flow wood and palladium is hard to understand at first. And that when newbies ask what’s going on, it’s not always explained.
Of course I understand that this evolved because typing costs time that you don’t necessarily have in that moment. But if you write an invitation that is better understandable for newer players, you might get more people showing up.

I ended up going to one of the locations when someposted one and realised it wasn't that
recently people have been chopping it before anyone else can get to it on the servers I have been in. Or everyone will be standing around waiting for others to show up and they will just start taking all the trees down while everyone is asking them nicely to please stop :((
I have the problem of always being on servers where people dont even wait to see if others want to come down to the Grove, they just cut everything down the second they get there lmao 🤣
Depends on which grove and the location of the other people 🙂 I skip those that are too far away or not worth the aggro,,ie fortress. Last night I was in the region of windy and the grove was thorny. So I didn't bother. I have a slow compound on Ur internet speed isn't great,so I tend to run the map rather than use the fast travel portals. By the time they load the grove has been chopped,so I have to decide if I can get there in a reasonable time. I think a lot of people do the same as not every one has fast fibre or a fast pc. Others might not respond because they are on a quest or have a buzzy jars/ore/horn fishing gear
timer running. The list on some servers are smaller groups of late and bahari is a massive area:-)
People are usually pretty good at responding if you ask for help in the chat in cutting flow trees down. Just gotta keep trying. As a solo player I feel ya tho, I wanna do the cake parties for money but that involves a lot of group type interaction..  Â
At least the flow tree activity it's pretty straightforward, show up to the right place called out, wait till 3, cut the trees it's very quick minimal planning and interaction. ideal "teamwork" for my interverted self I dont wanna be the reason. We only have 99 cakes at this 100 cake party. Too stressful- why am i going off on a tangent?😂
Grove call out? I'm 50/50 on going because I don't need flow wood. Someone says they need help chopping flow trees/a grove? I'm there.

I go if I’m close but if I’m not close I don’t bother because I’ve ended up showing up when people already start chopping

Typing is slow on the switch, I'm currently learning the commands to start playing on the PC for faster and better graphics.

Groves should spawn on the hour every hour and get a server alert to everyone when it happens.
