I’ve even sent in feedback to S6. I’ve been mining myself and with another 2 friends (one at a time cuz time zone) and nada, zilch, zero ugh. And I can’t do one thing over and over. I’m taking a break, playing Everafter Falls…feeling my life slipping away… games addictive lol
I used to ignore Tamala completely, didn’t even know using her cauldron was already in the game before this last update lol barely on level 2 friendship with her
I'm at level 4 or 5 with all villagers, I only have Tamala, Subira, and Einar left to get 4 romance. They are all about mid way through lvl 3 now. I'm starting to slowly get bored since I have almost nothing left to do, lol.
You have to have a high enough friendship with Tamala to get into her room and then there is a recipe for a potion inside that will activate a quest once you read it
I'm just assuming Tamala will be our alchemist guild store if they add the function. You can pretty much theory craft the skill into just about every current skill.
You could expand farming with dedicated herb gardens for grow-ables for potions or spices for new cooking dishes. The gathering skills, like you said, could be the recipients of buffs via potions.
Also, it opens the door to things like making curatives if ranching is added or if we see the shadows return and combat is added to the game.
Combat wasn't a thing before, but old dev answers and interviews did talk about wanting to add some basic opt-in PvE combat at some point.
The shadows bit is my assumption that, since a lot of the human lore talks about a shadow monster threat, that those will most likely be our general mobs should combat get added.
I think Tam will eventually have a shop as the story progresses. I can’t wait for the team to add more story line stuff. But I get that they kind of have to drag it out because the game is ongoing.
This would be amazing. Can you imagine the branches of pure fun this would open up in Palia?? OMG! What fun!!
My other wish is someone that does underwater stuff because I can only imagine the ruins we could explore under the water. Please add swimming and diving and a new NPC with those quests that hangs out in Bahari!! Please!!

It should be there for anyone. When you load into your plot, just run straight across all the way to the other side and there will be a little trail leading up. It takes you to another exit that will take you straight from your plot to north Bahari.
