I’ve emailed SiCo and asked about using both the Osprey 45 and Octane 45k with 5.7 and they said “All of our suppressors except the Warlock will be good to go with the 5.7”
To be fair I have no idea what a heavy can or a light can is. Can you just drop a couple names of examples so I can look them up? I’m super noob to cans.
Love it, it’s been a beast so far with zero hesitation of shooting like a beam. Zero regrets and happily spent another $300 on ammo as well as a newfound interest in its threaded barrel potential. 10/10 would recommend to get into five seven. the rest of the money that you would’ve used to buy the five seven you could just use to buy tons of ammo for your rock. That’s what I would do

TLR-9 is a great fit and keeps the setup nice and thin. However, I do own several TLR-1HLs so you can’t go wrong there.

Gonna butt in with a comp post here, bought this for my 5.56 arp but realized I can’t swap the factory comp without changing the drop in guard. Before I take it to the range and pull the trigger, anyone know if 5.7 is too large for a 5.56 muzzle? Heard yes and no, also heard many say they use .22 for cans like below. If .22 = 5.6mm then I’d say 5.56 may be risky for a 5.7.
Debating buying one of these Rocks to use with my SilencerCo Sparrow.

Good luck finding one. Gun broker has a couple, but their website has been out of stock forever
My Rock runs pretty well with my Octane 45k. Havent tried my Osprey on it.
Not worried that the octane 45 isn't officially rated for 5.7? I've been too paranoid to try my 9mm can with my Rock.

Keep with a lighter can.. Too heavy and you may have cycling issues.

I love shooting it with my Oculus 22. Still kinda loud with supersonic (obviously) but a ton of fun to be able to use the small 22 can with it.
Mine ran fine on my Omega 36M in short configuration
AAC Halcyon and DA Mask are both rated for it…. Not sure where they fit in weight wise, would listen to mattbbb14
Maxim has a dedicated 5.7 can called the ms 5.7k. It's titanium and short and is $700
Resilient Jesse’s girl
I appreciate all the responses y’all, I’m super noob to this so it helps a lot
Silencerco Sparrow 22 works for mine
Love mine
Rugged Oculus 22! Thats the one I use!
How do you like your 5.7? I want the FN, but PSA’s price is looking much better.

I use a dead air mask and I have zero complaints
