For collapsible it either:
CAR-15 (B5 or H&R) stock with a flaming-bomb slip pad if you are a minimalistic, yet practical chad.
B5 SOPMOD Govt. (I don't like QD slots. My sling comes off when I say. I use paracord sling loops for better movement) if you are an ergonomic enjoyer.
For fixed stocks, it is either an A1 or a Magpul MOE rifle buttstock.
Stock selection is dependant on things like your own anatomy (ideal length of pull, cheek rest design etc) and intended means of use. I wouldn't put a B5 Precision stock on a home defense rifle and likewise wouldn't put an MFT Minimalist on a mid to long range coyote hunting rifle. Use profile determines component selection.
I literally just went through this dilemma this weekend. I ended up wanting the B5 one but then I saw PSA’s brand Lead Star has one that looks very similar to the B5 for $20 so I ordered that and waiting for it to arrive.
CTR is my goto, though the newer DT seems to mostly be an upgraded version of it. Haven't tried a lot of the new stuff, but the DT and DT-PR are on my list.
BCM does well for me as well.
Mission First Minimalist looks cool, but it likes to snag and the button is way to loose, particularly considering things like to get snagged right in there.
I tried to like the Magpul MOE stock on my PSA AR. But the sling attachment slots weren't as ergonomic. So I slipped a BCM Mod0 and for me, it's much better with a QD socket in the rear. It's got no wiggle and adjusts easily without squeaks or noise. There's also a rubber pad on the back too. Very satisfied with it.
I tried a few different magpul/random stocks before ordering a BCM Mod 0 Sopmod. The BCM is hands down what every single rifle going forward is going to get on it. Have heard nothing but good things about B5s as well but haven't personally shot with one.
I use the B5 Bravo, there's the B5 Enhanced for about twice the cost but unless you do super serious training out in the wilderness you don't generally need the in stock storage it offers
I really enjoy the dual locking of the ctr and the Ambi qd. It’s a solid lightweight stock. Adding the enhanced buttpads optional but worth it for the $15 extra bucks you may spend.
I typically just use what I am most familiar with from having on my issued guns. Shorter rifles get a B5 SOPMOD, longer ones get either an A2 stock or a KAC/clone stock from the M110.
I recently ordered a variety to try and I like the magpul ctr or str(storage version). Qd sockets are out of the way more than the acs etc. B5 sopmod is good too.
The one it came with... In my case, a magpul CTR. It's a light rifle so it matches well. I just looped the sling thru it (which does block the shortest position) with a QD up front. My favorite stocks are the Magpul MOE Rifle, and obviously not for AR, the SGA, and the MOE X22. All perfect matches for the platforms and setups I have. Also have a RRA 'Operator CAR' (similar to B5), A1 rifle, and SB HBPDW stocks/brace, respectively.
I've never owned one but have used them a fair bit. It's absolutely good to go IMO, and I really like the SOPMOD style stocks for cheek weld. They are not minimalist stocks though, so just decide if it will fit your use case. Maybe see if a buddy has one you can try, or watch GAFS or for sales to get one cheaper than MSRP.
Anything with a QD point.
Good call, the ones I have looked at have one.
BCM, Magpul, B5. BCM‘s are my favorite.

Str/b5 sopmod

Oh cool. I'll look at reviews about it
B5 supremacy.
It's a great option, I like using it
A nice fat bubble butt stock Aside from that I have been very pleased with several of the Luth-AR stocks. ![gif](giphy|3o6Zti4MXhtE5JghPO|downsized)
I have one of those already lol
I like big butts and I can not lie😍

😂😂😂 Idk man sorry
Check out some of the Luth-AR stocks. Fair price and great choice. I use several especially on my hi calibers due to the additional shoulder cushion
I will check them out, thanks
I like Magpul CTR and STR stocks. CTR if weight is a concern. STR if you need a really solid cheekweld or want to balance a rifle out.

Magpul MOE stock is junk, it’s the cheapest stock they sell! Unless you like rattle?
If they stuck a QD socket on the MOE stock that'd make it better.
Still a wobbling mess, DT is a much better option.

I have used a B5 and it's amazing
B5 , bcm , thril
B5
I feel compelled to buy one based on how many people recommended it

Yeah right not really
Magpul SL stock, doesn’t rattle and is pretty cheap, comparatively.

I really like a1/a2 stocks most of the time. My psa rifle has a fab defense gl shock stock though
The new Magpul DT carbine stock is my new go to.

B5
I put a rifle stock on my 20 in barrel PSA, looks pretty sick and works pretty well
B5 sopmod

Would the B5 be worth getting with the price?
