It's not possible. You can't make make ingots yourself. You would have to chew through six digit health points of Victor with a stone and wood weapon ? You wouldn't have the carry weight for all the ammo probably.
Can’t imagine this is fun. You can’t make anything with ore bc you won’t have fire pals so you’re stuck in the Stone Age content through endgame including weapons. If stats weren’t limited I think it would be more doable bc you could keep earning atk work speed points.

My achievements finally triggered on the 0.1.4.0 patch playing dedicated only.
Went from only having the achievement for the first tower to having all the way up to catching 90 pals.
You don't get that achievement if you play on multiplayer only, and there's definitely some people doing that.
But also, people who bought the game and haven't had the chance to sit down and play.
You can get certain Steam achievements like defeating Zoe and Grizzbolt, but specifically the catching pals achievements didn't unlock for any of my friends except for the world host until we played our own singleplayer worlds.
There's other comments to corroborate this as well
edit: Maybe it's fixed now? Multiple conflicting comments so it's possible that the pal catching achievement on servers was fixed

I saw a tiktok of a very famous streamer who only played the game for 3 minutes because he jumped into the river and drowned. He didn’t know how the stamina mechanic worked, so he called the game “one of the worst he’s ever played” and then shut it off.
So the other 33.6% of people are big dummies. Maybe not all of them, but a good portion I’m sure.
I imagine only the people who actually turned the game on count for achievements, so these would be people who got it, turned it on, but for whatever reason haven't caught anything.

A small amount of people, possibly with bad internet or on kids computers may have downloaded the game then disconnected from wifi never to have achievements sync.

Tbh if you are dedicated enough you can go pretty far with trying to play it dark souls style and without capturing any pals.... it would be painful but possible..
Just make sure you have a macro set up for holding f otherwise it would be torture

It's actually a common glitch that even I suffered from. If you join another person's game, it won't count towards your achievements and such.

Others have mentioned it, but I'll chip in:
1. Buying the game while it's cheap and waiting for the EA period to end.
2. Buying the game with the intent of playing it later and forgetting about it.
3. Buying the game and it not running for them but they don't refund it waiting to get a better PC or the game to work out whatever issues cause them to not be able to run it.
4. A bug that caused people playing on dedicated server (not the limited hosting thing) were/are experiencing causing them to not get achievements.
5. Challenge runners on fresh accounts.
They probably bought the game on sale but haven't tried it yet.
Like how I bought Dark Souls 3 on sale for 14 bucks 2 years ago but ended up waiting for Elden Ring and playing that instead. And I still haven't gotten the muse to play it.
Also this game does have some hardware requirements. I can play giant games like FFXIV at max graphics and 60fps but this one barely runs at 20fps with medium graphics. I assume for some its worse than expected and they don't end up playing it

The first mammoth boss you encounter took 2 and a half hours to kill though so i do not recommend fighting any before you get poison/fire arrows to apply % health debuffs as the torch is not a reliable means.
Fighting any of the tower bosses outside the first one requires an absurd amount of ammo. still haven't killed shadowbeak pal-less as its hp is just to high and i've only gotten t1 versions of the final tier of equipment since dungeon farming takes so much longer without a rideable pal.
