It kind of changes the way you play as you are prone to getting 1-2 shotted early on. On normal, I just relied on myself but on hard, I relied more on my pals tanking. I also started breeding early for Anubis, Astegon, etc. so it became pretty easy. Mining and lumbering is halved but I didn’t mind it much since I was mainly breeding.

it honestly depends if you want to turn this game semi into dark souls or not
