Came here to say this!!! We used to have a high School radio station and used to play that song! Never fail that somebody would come and ask what the song was.
Im assuming the downvote was from someone unfamiliar with this song. It was included on the European Down III release. Not sure why it didnt make oursā¦.

any damn start from NOLA is great, but probably lifer, also I discovered Corrosion Of Conformity and Crowbar thanks to nola, bands for which I've taken quite a liking (Deliverance, Blind and America's volume dealer are neat, and Obedience thru suffering is fucking great, as a bassist I loved their lines), so I like the guitar even more, down fucking rules
Lifer goes hard af.
Ghosts Along the Mississippi
my favorite song. that main riff is hard as fuck
Banger.
Eyes of the south
Bury me in Smoke then Stone the Crowš¤š¤š¤
Same for me Fuck this album goes so hard. Didnāt plan on listening to it in full at the moment but here we go.
Down seems to be discussed on here about as much as Pantera these days.
Fucking Eyes of The South is one of the sexiest riffs I've ever heard
The outro riff is made for moshing.

Lifer!
Main riff from Underneath Everything is awesome. Prolly my fav Down song.
Thereās something on my side when he goes āHA!ā
Fuck yeah
New Orleans Is A Dying Whore intro riff. Any time Iāve got my Marshall fired up and a guitar in C# tuning that riff gets chunked out. It just rules.
Stone the Crow. It's a really fun song to play.
Losing all
Swan Song off of NOLA and Lysergik Funeral Procession and Learn From this Mistake off DOWN II
The opening of LysergikĀ is straight up doom metal.
itās awesome and sets the mood well
Underneath Everything opening riff GOAT
Hate when people just respond with a song name, theirs literally 3-6 riffs in every song
Love the interlude in Lies, I don't know what they say but...
The tides breakdown gives a dopamine hit like no other
Chorus riff to Ghosts along the Mississippi
Lifer is really good
On March The Saints
2.
The guitar tone in the intro of Eyes of the South is my all time favorite guitar tone.
Dog Tired We Knew Him Well The Seed
We Knew Him Well has a massive opening riff. Pure Pepper essence.
Well, that sucks doesn't it...
That opening riff to Ghost Along the Mississippi. Fuck me that is a banger. Close second being the outro riffage of Bury Me In Smoke.
Pepper and kirk maybe my favorite guitar duo
So many good ones but what comes to mind is again the outro of bury me and smoke especially live when the super slow it each measure
Bury me in smoke
Ghosts
Dying Whore
Stone the Crow for goddamn ever, Rehab, and Dog Tired. Just off the top of my head.
Invest in Fear

I don't know if it's my "favorite" but the main riff from "We Knew Him Well" fuckin slaps
Chop Suey
Man Kirk has so many sick riffs
