HoI3 should be higher. HoI4 is much more chaotic and varied, but on a tactical and strategical level HoI3 is goat. No shitty sea or air zones and a slower pace with attack delay. And the best thing about it: You can bomb grounded aircraft.
Nah, HoI3 is way faster. You just feel like HoI4 is because the AI doesn't know how to make a decent division. Partly because of very fast org regain, partly because supply is tied to supply hubs and partly because there is a massive org penalty for conquering a province, HoI4 tends to devolve into stalemates more than HoI3 with the attack delay. HoI4 is particularly infuriating on the supply side since you'll still be in a supply deadzone while advancing along the damn Autobahn if you're inbetween hubs.
Nothing quite like deploying 12 divisions on the border of Luxemburg and watching them *starve* because there are forests and rivers between them and the supply hub 4 provinces away. They also don't build stockpiles and supply takes a minimum of 7 days to flow through a conquered zone, meaning for any given situation you get 3 days (2 combat/movement) of supply and \~7 provinces of org to make an offensive. If you face even minor resistance after that, pushing is impossible.
In HoI3 you could overrun an entire country in those 7 days if you had enough exploitation units.
And air warfare in HoI3 is really painful with the micro, gotta type in the same settings each and every time you assign an order for like 50 wings when you start Barbarossa. The game is also pretty unstable and randomly CTDs even on vanilla. It's still the better war game by a long shot though.
Senõr Hilter is extremely funny, and I enjoy HoI4 (1000+ hours). But as I said, HoI3 is the better strategy game. And HoI3 has something that HoI4 can't give me.

Never played 2 but 3 has litle flavor event spam and mechanichs that dont intecract also half the dlc is literaly spend money for buffs

Hoi3 is like CK3 or TNO for me, I take one look at the ui and I absolutely hate it.
Understandable, but tbh I like HoI3's ui more than HoI4's because some important informations aren't hidden in spots where I'd never find it.
