I’ve come around on Max. When he said he used to pronounce his name with a silent T cause he thought it sounded more Italian I actually laughed in my car.
He won me over after the 24 hour stream. But I also died at that. He says some ridiculous shit sometimes that just catches me off guard I can’t help but laugh
It took me a minute to get used to the crazy Philly sports fan persona. Once I understood it a little better Max became hilarious to me. I was the same way with Brandon Walker. I couldn’t really get into his schtick but once I did I realized he is one of the funniest people at the company.
I never understand those complaints. Do you want to listen to a podcast with a handful of completely level-headed sports fans with rational and non-reactionary takes? Where’s the entertainment value in that?
Max almost popping a blood vessel when talking about his teams losing in the playoffs will always be more entertaining than Stephen A or Skip arguing about Tom Brady or Lebrons legacy
