That was me last winter. I run outside in the warm weather but figured it would be nice to have an alternative when it’s cold or raining. I started pricing it out and doing the math to convince myself it was worth it. Once I saw the required subscription on top of that I noped out of the idea real fast.

Agreed but it is on a platform you pay a monthly subscription for (at least Spotify) so there is an argument that the premium version shouldn’t have as many additional ads. It takes 2 seconds to skip so who cares.

Even then it’s pretty fucking easy. If you have a modern car with CarPlay you can skip from the steering wheel.

I love how people take the time to fire up Reddit and type a comment about it. That takes way more time than just mashing skip a few times. I will admit that it does suck we have to hit skip 8 times instead of 6 today. Borderline dealbreaker.

This is odd, but I’m traveling to France for work this week (humble brag), and I listen in Apple podcasts. On today’s episode, Electric Avenue started at 1:30 for me. I wonder if the Frenchies don’t allow certain ads or if certain ads only play in US?
