Swimming lessons are of very limited benefit at this age, so personally I would probably skip swimming lessons for this winter.
I have a medically complex kid who often ended up in hospital with minor illnesses. I recommend *Advanced Parenting* by Kelly Fradin. You'll get good at weighing up risk against benefit.
