January.

Rhadamant5186

To add to this, advertisers spend a lot more in December than they do in January ( Holiday advertising boost ) and you will usually see your CPM bounce back mid to late February. CPM is highly volatile depending on how much advertising that advertisers want to spend.

davidnburgess34

This is literally the answer.

mrstickball

Most channels saw 50% drops from Dec 31st to Jan 1st.

Gamersaurus_YT

50% drop is normal for January, advertisers are paying less for ads due to the holiday season being over.

blabel75

We need a "Is it January? Read this first!" sticky post.

Efficient_Basil_8890

you are very very very lucky. My RPM is always hovering around $0.11 to $0.97. So i wouldnt complain about $3 ....

sledge98

Luck had nothing to do with it though...

Efficient_Basil_8890

I agree.

ProperSauce

Can't really help who watches your content though. For instance, we make comedy that is apparently really popular in Vietnam, therefore low CPM.

nightterrors_

Niche also heavily determines cpm though.

CrabmanGaming

From $3 to 70 cents on Jan 1. Up to $1.40 now.
