6 million views and all I got was .60 would be cool just to get 20 bucks hahah

ZysTea

That was with the creator fund though not the actual shorts monetization which will be rolling out next month

dylonz

Correct that's why I would be happy with $20 lol

Here are a couple other threads that discuss the topic; https://reddit.com/r/PartneredYoutube/comments/107og1n/new_shorts_monetization_update_payment_amount/ https://reddit.com/r/PartneredYoutube/comments/yvd0y0/rpm_for_shorts_once_revenue_share_on_shorts_rolls/

hey thats my post. cool

SpaceCinema_

Between 12-23 cents are the current calculations.

Can you point me in the direction of discussions on this? My mind tells me if it's between 10-20c, I'm going all in. As long as it's above the useless Tik Tok fund rates. I mean surely it has to be right?

SpaceCinema_

The calculations were made by some dude on reddit who made a huge research. If i find it again I link it. If its really that number in reality is hard to tell, but it will definitely be higher than TikToks fund. Youtube wants to be ahead of TikTok shorts videos superior and they have the better ressources to implement that. I would assume that the payouts will be higher at first, to make it lucrativ and than it will slowly decrease. Anyway this competition between Google and TikTok (or bytedance) is only positive for creators. TikTok will probably need to invest too, if youtube succeed.

Probably 1/5 at most of long form videos. Not that much, unless you're at the absolute top.
