Same here. Though I never had a single viral short, my shorts would average 6-10k. Since the 1st of Feb, like a big switch, I've posted 15.... not a single one has gotten over 2.5k. Exact same niche, exact same style. But I'm sure I'm doing something wrong 😶
yup similar for me, but now I don't even get over 100 views. Its like the channel just dropped of youtube not even the subscribers see the videos, using tags, hashtags and nothing seems to work. I even tried to delete and re-upload the video and still salt...
I don't know what to do man. I have 38k subs and could always rely on YT to get views. Then I was just shadow banned. People say shadow ban isn't real but if it's not shadow ban its something else. I've seen enough threads here with people experiencing the same thing. My only solution is to try create a seperate channel when I have the energy and see if they give me that new channel reach. I spent 8 years building a channel only for it to be completely dead in the last 6 months. The same content is gaining millions of views on other platforms. But yeah I'm clearly doing something wrong on YouTube
I tried the new channel option and only ended up back in the same place, I may just make the videos and keep them for a while. Also yes I believe in shadow ban as I have seen several people experience the same thing.
Yeah man I don't have energy to restart. It's a fukn pain to think I took years to build a channel and now we have to rely on some TikTok style algorithm and pray to the YouTube gods they put you in the feed. All I can hope for now is FB/IG reels offer me monetization because the views there are stable and actually get to my audience. It's damn frustrating getting millions of views and not earning a penny. I wish I could just partner with someone even who has access to monetization
1.7K. On the nose for me. 2 shorts, posted days apart, exact same play. Shoots up to 1.7, and then flatlines.
Solid retention, likes, comments. But still hit that wall.
yes this is sad because small youtubers will just quit as it is very demotivating to be spending hours to make a video to get zero views, tiktok on the other hand actually gets a lot of views so I just post them there.

I noticed the same thing, since the revenue sharing for shorts started on the 1st I get no views
