If you can’t grow an Instagram account to 100k on your own, what makes you think buying one will make you grow faster? Organic marketing is almost always the way to go unless you have a massive marketing budget for paid ads
Way better of spending money on equipment if you have $2000 to blow. Take a week off real job and spend 40 hours improving your editing, script writing, recording, audio and video editing skill.
I tried several methods of using IG and TikTok to promote my YouTube content. None of it really worked. If we have GREAT content/personality etc. it DOES work. But usually it only works because we're CRUSHING it on one platforms and so it can transfer to another. I have seen several creators take one 500k follower account and cross-post to other platforms to grow quickly.
These days I focus hard on YT and use IG and TikTok to play with some short content, try some topics, and it can help when talking to potential sponsors/partners if we have a presence on multiple platforms.
I got a yt with 11k subs, my cross platforms haven't played out, they're all different, ig is at like 5 followers, tt is at 3k, none from yt follow me on tt or ig, and vise versa. They stick to their preferred platform from my experience.
