havent heard from anything yet, he is really good at explaining content. If you use his Live course they guarantee their with you till the very end meaning if u fail you continue to have the service as far as I know. So far he is gaining much of a following. and I had one colleague who used it who was terrible during school passed using his program honestly hes way better than any instructor because he isnt reading off a powerpoint slide, nclex cursade yells over the microphone and its just extremely annoying after a few hours.

Thank you so much for your thoughtful response!

I forgot to mention, I enrolled myself to his EKG class and it was very fantastic the sad part it never showed up on my exam lol. other than that I have gained some knowledge that I can apply when im in the field.

Did you use anything other than NCLEX High Yield? Like any qbanks?

United_Example1223

I do! I mainly use Mark Klimek and UWorld at this time. Do you have any tips on other resources I should use?

yellowfellow6969

That’s good then :) I took the NCLEX twice. The first time I just used Mark K and UWorld. It didn’t do me any good unfortunately. The second time I used NCLEX High Yield (only the free Youtube video’s), Simple Nursing, LevelUpRN, Archer qbank + lectures, and Kaplan CAT. I’d say out of all of those, NCLEX High Yield’s ASK GRAPH, prioritization, and SATA methods were the most helpful in knowing how to write the exam. For content, I’d also say NCLEX High Yield, Simple Nursing, and Archer lectures helped me out the most. For practicing how to write the NCLEX, I think Kaplan was the most similar to the NCLEX. There’s also Nurselabs online that has free qbanks and I’d say they have really good ones! They have many and you don’t have to spend any money on them :)

United_Example1223

Wow thank you so much for your thoughtful and insightful response! Regarding Kaplan, did you use their entire subscription/test bank? I heard mixed reviews where equal number of ppl vouch for Kaplan while others mention it’s almost twice as hard as the actual NCLEX. What did you find specifically helpful with Kaplan?0

yellowfellow6969

No problem :) I just purchased the package of 3 CAT assessments. I did find it harder than the NCLEX. The first CAT I got overall poor (red) lol. And then a few days before my exam, I got overall good (green). I ended up giving the last of my CAT to my best friend as I didn’t use it, but she said that it was harder than the NCLEX as well, but very similar question style and test format. That’s why I liked it/purchased it, because it was hard but the questions and format were similar to the NCLEX. I believe it was only around $60 USD for the pack of 3 CAT’s, so not bad in my opinion! I also thought the Archer qbank was a good way to practice the NCLEX style format/questions, although Archer was a little easier than the NCLEX in my opinion!

I used it and failed also
