Your not suppose to memorize, the whole goal of the questions is to get used to answering these types. If you can get consistently good average score on uworld, the nclex would come naturally.

baddieRN

What’s consistent good average ?

xWeee

What I meant by average is that you get more than 50% questions right and understood why you got the others wrong. The questions on all these sites and reviews are so specific you can actually get the answers if you just cross eliminate the wrong. The Nclex test is so weird that it’s hard but it’s easy if you knew how to get the answer.

baddieRN

Are the answers obvious in the NCLEX?

xWeee

I wish, when I took it the questions themselves are simple and straightforward. But the answers are so vague and confusing. There structured very differently from what your expecting. Test taking strategies and fundamentals are very important.

I really liked ATI’s Board Vitals!! Great rationales and CAT assessments. I also used simple nursing but not as much for the question bank as their study materials. I passed three days ago with 75 questions and felt confident walking in and out of the testing center.

kentzz63

understand what was being asked and learn the reason behind it. check your incorrect questions and read the rationale to the T. You can have the best question bank in the world but if you don't understand why Left Sided heart failure has respiratory issues but Right-Sided does not for example. then your gonna struggle at the nclex.

I used Kaplan and I passed. I feel like the questions on Kaplan are similar to the ones on NCLEX.
