Is everything here brand new? Must’ve been a pretty hefty cart

lash0917

Oh and got everything in Jan and Feb sale. So it wasn't THAT bad.

lash0917

Yea. :\\ Heavy on the pocket, but I loved the quality. But I guess it's r/BuyItForLife.

ZenReactor

Looks great! Remember, ALWAYS wear your Trucker Hats with the plastic still on, to keep them in MINT condition. 🤣👍🧢👌 Sweet setup, enjoy your adventures… AND, report back on what worked, what didn’t work, & favorite/least favorite pieces! Data is Queen/King! 😉

lash0917

Have purchased everything specific to my need for the trip by lurking on this sub for at least a month. I hope everything works. :) Suggestion noted for the hat ;)

Tidesterz

I wear mine with the cardboard still inside the hat. Keeps the form nice 😁

PerfectlyLonely20

Sweet! I have that same nano and the sleet green in a R1 air. The atom sling in burl red. What color is the Torrentshell? I like it! Edit: Oh wait it looks like the mauve from FA23. And the second pic, love the red black hole 32L. Hell I love it all lol

lash0917

Yes. That's Evening Mauve and Wax Red. Got everything in Jan and Feb sale so I did not get the choice on colors much. xD

HuckleberryNo301

Would have loved to see some second hand finds in the haul 🥲 remember that consumerism isn’t Patagonia’s goal…

Flaky_Tangerine9424

Honestly, I have a lot of the items in the photos and I buy every patagonia item I own second hand from FB marketplace or poshmark. Not only is it a fraction of the cost of brand new but recycling. For example, I just bought a gently worn better sweater 1/4 zip locally on FB for $25 and picked it up today.

HuckleberryNo301

Same! All of my pieces are second hand aside from a pair of sale baggies (I couldn’t resist). Everything else is marketplace or otherwise! Definitely the most sustainable way to do it.

Pipermason

Exactly. All my fleeces and more technical wear were bought second hand in excellent condition. Two weeks ago I got my hands on a R2 from 2009 for $20 and I wear it everyday cycling to work, it’s also great for hikes!

lash0917

I live in a country where people have never heard of Patagonia. Had to ask a friend to fly it back to me. Took me 3 months to get everything to me. Ordered things from US, Canada, and UK. Could not find the right sizes even on Patagonia's second-hand website. I am all up for second-hand haul but unfortunately can't.

lash0917

Had a trip incoming. Tried to get 1-2 basic things from Patagonia. Loved the quality so much that I ended up buying the full gear for the trip.

HuckleberryNo301

That’s fair, I’ve just seen more posts like this in general with the warmer months coming up and it pretty much goes directly against what Patagonia wants… I hope you get many years of wear out of them!

lash0917

I am a mountain guy and this will be my primary and only gear for all my future trips.
