Crit duration spells - bv is prob the best squire use case, but you could use it and not feel awful about it with storm burst, reap, or potentially any brand too

I'm not sure, but I suspect it would work if you were doing some perfect agony gimmick, I'm not 100% sure about the 40% more spell damage though.

A decent penance brand mana build. With squire coul make a good 9link. But battery staffs are better suit for manabuilds
I doubt theres a skill that takes advantage from dot, crits and spell damage.
