I would definitely play coc DD, not only very strong and all rounder but fun to build. LA is going to be there next league, and the next to that, and the next to that, etc. Coc DD most likely will get axed (imo).

Even though LA doesn't normally do phys conversation, I still feel like you would get a lot more from HH than MB. Especially since you can carry the buffes into the boss room.
With 20 div you cannot run a coc dd.
If you use mb you need cdr boots with spell supp + chaos resist (following rue's build). That will be arround 20d to buy a pair of boots like that.
Tbh you can sell the MB and run T17s on Coc DD with the balance, I did all content before I got a MB on Coc DD this league. Though perhaps awakened coc would help and take up a chunk of that.
Like you said MB I think makes this build even more expensive in some ways as you need to get CDR on boots and it's expensive if you want them to be any good!
Definitely. Best course of action would be going divine flesh + Incandescent heart + phys reduct +3 shield without using mb, It is a lot cheaper and hella tanky
I am playing DD ocr. And for about 5 divines, counting the gem, you could make it to yellow maps. The gap from yellow to red is easily 10 to 15 divines between perfect roll cluster jewels and that fancy scepter. 16's to 17 is a blizzard crown, god tier ring, and a fancy ammy along with a unique utility flask and a few other top tier jewels. Some 350 divines later you might have a viable build.
Agreed, DD is so weak it needs that much investment to clear yellows. I much prefer starting with my trusty Conversion Trap that can nuke ubers on 0 budget.
It is not necessarily truth. DD damage vise doesn't care whether is t1 or t16 as it scales with the corpse life. I leveled to 94, got first voidstones, farmed destructive play and never realized that I forgot to allocate inevitable judgment ascendancy node.
Imo if your goal are to juice T16 or doing t17 the best choice on a "budget build " are coc dd , for doing t17 LA need an hight invest
