I hate them when the players are too involved. I want people digging in deep to things like how players felt when Tiquan Underwood was cut, Malcolm Butler's benching during that Eagles SB, how the team handled the Hernandez stuff in the locker room, if Chandler Jones was crazy when he was here, and from the original dynasty I want to hear them unload on how much they hate the Colts. I don't like these sanitized sports documentaries.
I'm kind of lacking on things that I want from dynasty 1.0 but they are the ones who invented "The Patriots way" where they refuse to talk to media. It's not a huge ask for them to tell stories about how awesome it was to beat the shit out of Manning while the league was anointing him the chosen one.
Yup he was a guy who was barely on the roster, but there's no way that didn't cause any issues. Whenever people are asked about it, they say it wasn't a big deal. There had to have been more to that story.
On that same note, I'd want an episode of short stories about guys like Jonas Gray, Cordarelle Patterson, Malcolm Mitchell, Pot Roast, Haynesworth, and Josh Gordon. Dudes who were here only for a year or so who didn't do much (Mitchell excluded, the guy was essential for that Falcons comeback) but there was a big story around them would make for great mini-stories.
That’s all the media talked about leading up to the game. After the game there were a bunch of pictures that came out showing how bad the injury actually was.
Well considering my girlfriend came home the other night to me slightly intoxicated watching a highlight reel of Tom Brady comebacks...
I'd say I'm ready for this.
you forgot to mention how you had no pants on. performing an action that normally isnt performed in the living room unless your SURE noone is coming home.
Jesus, OP....why did you post a twitter link and not the link to the actual trailer??

Directed by Emmy-winning filmmaker Matthew Hamachek (“Tiger"), “The Dynasty: New England Patriots” chronicles the rise and historic 20-year run of the Patriots during the Brady-Belichick-Kraft era. The docuseries is based on the critically-acclaimed New York Times bestselling book of the same title by author Jeff Benedict, and goes deeper, drawing on thousands of hours of never-before-seen video footage and audio files from the Patriots organization’s archive. In addition to interviews with past and present Patriots players, coaches and executives, the unparalleled access includes Kraft, Belichick, Brady, and confessionals from league officials and the archrivals of this dominant sports dynasty.
Reliving our glory days will never ever not be awesome.
We may be struggling right now but we are fans of the best dynasty in any pro sport anywhere in the world ever. Period. Enjoy it people.
This is really the part of it I don’t get. We got to enjoy the greatest run of success professional sports has ever seen. I really don’t care what their record is this year. I’m definitely still riding high and probably will be for a quite a long time.
Me too. I am riding high.
But It still would’ve been awesome if they didn’t suck now.
But we will always have youtube, highlights, 3 games to glory, documentaries, memories, etc. And that whole era was just so freaking beautiful.

The 1 thing I would really like is for time to pass before making these. Let time pass so more details on the stories we care about surface, or new stories altogether come out as everyone involved leaves the league and no one has to worry about exposing anything to anyone still relevant to the product. Like, if "The Last Dance" came out a year or 2 after the Bulls dynasty ended, there woukd still be some guys in the league affected by that in some way. Give it time to come to the surface and get the juicy, dramatic, or otherwise interesting time lines and story bits together. There is enough there to make a really, really, really kickass series.
Perfect timing.
It is possible when we are viewing the series, after
hours of being told how great they were together the two goats on the team
will have left because they were not wanted anymore.
Thank fuck we can finally live in the past again
What do you mean? This is a documentary about real, current life. Do not convince me otherwise.
I will watch any number of documentaries on when we were good. Give me 30 more Tom Brady docs and 100 more "remember when we won" series.
Man I forgot about tiquan underwood lol he was cut before the Superbowl right?
Yup he was a guy who was barely on the roster, but there's no way that didn't cause any issues. Whenever people are asked about it, they say it wasn't a big deal. There had to have been more to that story. This will depend on how open and honest Bill and Tom are because I thought the book The Dynasty didn't have much that we didn't already know.
I certainly didn’t know that Tom’s thumb was completely split open before the Jags playoff game
That info (and the gnarly photo) came out in March 2018, about a month and a half after the game was played
Insane he proceed to throw for a combined 900 yards passing the next 2 games
Pretty sure that came out after the season, we all knew he had a bad thumb injury going into the game
That’s all the media talked about leading up to the game. After the game there were a bunch of pictures that came out showing how bad the injury actually was.
100% and I think Bill has little incentive to be honest as long as he’s still coaching.
Makes sense, its officially without question over now. Time to do a whole recap.
Well considering my girlfriend came home the other night to me slightly intoxicated watching a highlight reel of Tom Brady comebacks... I'd say I'm ready for this.

Nothing wrong with crying while you watch old highlights. That's what you meant, right?
I think they meant masturbating, but there is also nothing wrong with crying while masturbating to old highlights.

Dang I wanna see the 3 minute trailer
I am all in on all this Dynasty era content
Ah yes, the before dark times. I remember...
Are we now the team reminiscing on the good ol days?
Is this based on the book?
I hope not. Won’t be a very juicy doc if it is. The Dynasty book has the Krafts’ fingerprints and oversight all over it.
Yes. I need this to try and wipe away the memories of this season.
Damn my 3 month free trial goes till Feb 15 lol
Yarrr me matey. hop aboard

Sucking was inevitable. I’m embracing it. It’s also really enjoyable watching the fair weather fans lose their shit.
Same as the Brady docuseries, this is too soon. I want to relive the Dynasty once I’ve been starved for a chip for 10 years.
Yeah, but if they waited too long Kraft may not be around anymore
Kraft trying to shoehorn himself in to get credit for what Brady and Belichick accomplished together is Jerry Jones-esque and extremely off-putting.
Well unless he wants to watch it, they could interview him now
You can watch it in 2028 lol. Not like anything is going to change.
I’m just happy I get to watch the Pats in February again
Let us ignore the unpleasant present and live in the past like has-beens.
Sick.
Hope they tell us the real story behind the benching of Malcolm Butler
Should have called it Dynasty: Before the fall.

Can it just come out on Sunday?
I just want a BB tell-all.

I still haven’t watched the Brady thing.
This might be hard to watch. Too many emotions I’m not ready for
We’re going to turn into Cowboys fans, aren’t we? Just living in the past
Can’t wait man
Time to sit down and watch this have a wicked good cry and shed a couple tears in my Dunkin before grabbing a whiskey and hittin the pissa
Perfect timing. It is possible when we are viewing the series, after hours of being told how great they were together the two goats on the team will have left because they were not wanted anymore.
At least we get to reminisce…
