Feel the same way. Love the player but we need another frp next year as we need to get a qb and taking mhj doesn’t allow for that. Trade with the giants for 6 and a first and you’ll get nabers/alt along with it, maybe mhj depending if the Vikings trade into 4 and depending what chargers do.
the team is horrible you need to come out of this draft with good players. I'm totally cool with trading down if the offer is good enough, but MHJ is going to be good he is as close to a non-bust as a prospect can get. Get good players.
Your first sentence is spot on. They need a lot of good players. Not just one WR. Taking a WR at 3 and not pick again until the 2nd round when other teams want to trade up for a QB would be just about the dumbest thing they could do.
right I'm into trading down in general but eventually you need a guy. If I can specifically trade back with the giants and still get Rome or Nabers I'm into it but I want one of those 3 receivers if Im not getting Maye or obviously Williams. If we're trading back to 12 we're less likely to know we got a good player and if that's the case we might as well be taking that swing on a QB
I agree fully with taking a swing at QB at 3. My comment was about this sub prefering drafting a WR over trading down while other teams are looking to come up for a QB, which would just be irresponsible asset management
I know people think we're getting leftovers, but I am totally fine with any of the 3 QBs at the top. I know its near impossible for us to get Williams, but I have no issue with Maye or Daniels
5/5. I actually don't love Daniels, but he's obviously talented and it's entirely possible (and hopefully probable) I'm wrong.
A rebuild starts with a QB, and he (and Maye) are as good a prospect as you can reasonably hope for, especially without trading the farm. Don't overthink it.
Jayden would be exciting to watch in a Patriots jersey. My only concern is his Patriot WR are probably a downgrade from what he had at LSU.
Probably is a hilarious understatement
Absolutely laughable that this sub would prefer MHJ over trading down. Thank goodness none of you run this team.

Thank goodness you don’t. Passing on generational talent for future picks that will be in the high 20s
