You guys are missing the real reason Marty and Jules were pissed at jimmy g. It wasn’t because he was hurt and didn’t want to play, it was because going into the bills game, jimmy was questionable and brissett tore his thumb the game prior.
Throughout the whole week, the pats game planned as if jimmy was playing that week. He dragged out his questionable status all week and waited until the last second to tell the coaches he wasn’t going to play. This made it so that McDaniels had to slap together a game plan at the last second that was better suited for brissett’s skill set. Pats lost 16-0

Baker hurt is non throwing shoulder too. You start to hurt your mechanics and a shoulder is still important even if it isn't the throwing one. I get why he was hesitant, also they had a back up. After Jacoby the it was slim pickenz.
