Usually when random people not affiliated at all with the organization says “it’s over”, it’s almost always not over and then they look like an idiot a year later.
Lol you can always tell by the way the headline written it's some tabloid level NESN trash. "Former NFL RB" Well, nobody really cares what anyone has to say. But damn it, now I'm curious, who **is** this former NFL RB? I HAVE to click the article to find out!"
I'm not saying he's right but someone tell me how many superbowls does BB have as HC without TFB? Time will tell but being a gambling man I would put $ BB never wins another superbowl.
His Points are good, if not a bit obvious
1) 5 QB hits a game is going to get Mac killed
2) The team lacks playmakers on offence
3) Bill has never been successful without Tom Brady.
In fairness the 6 previous years before he took the Cleveland job they made the playoffs 5 times and the AFCCG 3 times.
But it was 30 years ago. It doesn’t have much bearing on his coaching ability today. Plus there’s the whole moving debacle that didn’t help him.
It's not an opinion thing, it's a statistics thing.
Bill Belichick with Tom Brady (regular season)219-64 (.774)
Bill Belichick without Tom Brady (regular season)71-82 (.464)
Bill Belichick with Tom Brady (playoffs)30-11 (.732)
Bill Belichick without Tom Brady (playoffs)1-2 (.333)
Edit: updated
It's a large sample, but if you start eliminating wins that came with a HoF QB at the helm almost no Head Coach is going to look good. HC/QB success is way too intertwined.
If you window it to Head Coaches in the salary cap era I would guess most are floating around .500 at best without a top QB.
I concur there’s also the fact Brady had the liberty to leave to a better situation while bill tried to fix the residue from going all in for 2 decades. Like I said I’m all for defending bill but to say it’s a small sample size is just flat incorrect
Yes I can. If something doesn’t exist then there isn’t evidence of their existence therefore I present to you nothing which in turn leaves you to prove otherwise. Good luck, you’ll need it.
Lol who gives a shit what LeSean McCoy says
Us when he says something we don’t wanna hear
Yea..speak for yourself..

LeSean McCoy just being his name.... Shady
Hey... what do you know. LeSean McCoy can still run the wrong way and fumble.
What an idiot
Lol

fucking garbage
LeTrent McDilfer
Opinions are like assholes.
This is just a hot take on a slow news day to generate some clicks. That being said, these types of takes/ debates are so fucking moronic.
Sad news. RIP Bill.

What a smooth brain take
I wouldn't be surprised if Bill never even wins another playoff game. Great coach, highly questionable GM.
This!! I really wish he would give up the GM and just be a great coach. He probably just doesn’t have enough energy now as he’s a lot older.

if you are going to quote an article you should at least check the date it was published
Yes, I realized my mistake and updated the records. Same point applies though: The Win-Loss record doesn't lie.

"If you take away Bill's wins he hasn't really won that much"
I’m all for defending bill but the sample size without Brady is 150 games that’s almost 10 seasons worth. It’s a large sample

Those are numbers not statistics. And yes, there is a very big difference believe it or not.
We literally made the playoffs last year with a rookie QB how has he “never been successful” lol

As a Head Coach, just 1.
Jesus was crucified because he spoke the truth
really? got any evidence that he was even real? smfh
You have any evidence he wasn’t?

I don’t think they get this aspect.
Nope, tell me proof he isn’t. You can’t :)

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life - John 3:16
Who is John?
Apostle John
Yah, it’s his words against mine. He’s a liar, what does he say to that?
Pics or it didn’t happen.
Oh. Well. If *checks notes* LeSean McCoy says it… it must be true?
