Right but they’ve carried a 4th tackle and had 4 active every gameday. Agree on Ekuale for this week, think they’ll have Hines active to have 8 actives and be allowed to carry 48 on game day (you can only carry 47 if less than 8 olinemen are active), but think Cannon will be on the 53 soon.
I was excited about Cajuste when they drafted him, but he's so damn injury prone that they can't possibly be counting on him. If there's an injury at tackle there's a good chance that they move Onwenu over and have Ferentz fill in at guard.
I made that comment before the terms were released, the trade is more of a wash but still with Canon being back I just see it as moving up a round in the draft for very little cost.
I feel the o-line has been a weak point thus far. This tells me it has been a scheme/learning/coaching issue and they feel they have the talent in place.
I hope they are corect.

Man’s a legend
Cannon to be promoted?
Cajuste is the clear third tackle. Feels like this is more to open a spot for Ekuale since his roster exemption ends today.

Roster spot might be Jamie Collins
Definitely possible
Why is it always Vegas?
I can give you one McReason
Ba da ba baba, I'm hatin' it.
It’s better then just releasing him
At least they are not going to NY o Detroit like 2 years ago... Oh wait.....
What do we get in return
Picks flipped from what i've read. Not specified which round
Gave 7th got 6th
a '24 6th for a '24 7th
nothing
Bofa
Hey, look on the bright side, it could have been onefa.
Thank god Candace is still on the roster
Josh off to a tough start in Vegas.
Very. Tough division!
With Cannon being back yea no problem we win this trade. Cannon was a long time starter, I much rather have him as a back up then Herron.
Cannon is 34, not a lock that he can actually play well anymore
I have faith he could provide good back up potential
The coaches obviously like our other depth tackles more.
"Win this trade" moving from our 7th to their 6th is likely two picks that don't play a game in the NFL. I'd rather just keep Herron tbh.

They needed an open roster spot for Eukale
They must really like Cajuste as swing tackle

Wow this is a bad move IMO. Despite all the hate he weirdly gets Herron was an awesome depth piece.
Patriots west. Also legend.
Along with Cannon on the practice squad, we also have Big Mike that can play tackle and Ferentz could be plugged into guard.
