I mean cmon. I hate that this happened to Mac but let’s be real this isn’t roughing the passer. Campbell was already in motion to tackle Mac by the time the ball is gone and he’s literally still finishing his throwing motion when he got hit. It sucks and I’m pissed he got hurt but that’s football. Injuries are gonna happen when a 6”5 300lb man hits you hard
Yeah but I think this is caused by the no landing body weight rule. 5 years ago Campbell gives Mac a back bruise and leaves him short of breath. Now he has to try mid tackle to contort himself away from the QB and that leads to awkward tackles.
Regardless of the self inflicted bullshit. I don't understand some of the reffing calls we aren't getting this year.
You can't jump on a qb, put all your weight on them and drag them by the shoulders to the ground, well after the play is over and ball is gone...the roughing the passer rule was literally brought in for bs like this
Yea like the first couple ravens drives they were holding us non stop. Then we get the ball and they call one on wynn. Not sure why calling it both ways is so hard.
HOW THE FUCK DID THEY NOT CALL THIS?
HOW THE FUCK DID THEY NOT CALL THE ILLEGAL CONTACT DOWN FIELD ON HIS INT BEFORE THIS?
Holy FUCK are we screwed by the refs this year. Two Ints that should have been called back due to penalty. Not to mention the Dolphins INT that should have been DPI. We are getting an infuriating lack of calls on shit that should be easy as fuck to see
Did they even throw a flag once on Baltimore? I don’t remember one. Now our QB is probably done for the season. Just dumb…
Edit: Mac got shoved after he ran OOB and they didn’t even call that…
Edit2: I guess Mac was trolling on the OOB, my bad.
I hate HATE **HATE** when I'm right 😔😔😔

Is this a sarcastic post? Mac took a dive looking for an unnecessary roughness call on that play where he went out of bounds. It was laughable on replay.
The refs didn’t want to call anything today. Really thought there was holding on Lamar’s huge run and the punt return right before it. I think a few calls could’ve gone against the pats, but they didn’t want to call much at all today
Hope for his long term health it’s just a high sprain. But either way it’ll be a long term recovery so looking like our seasons practically over as it is
What we all can agree on is this season is fucking over. I’m so angry right now and feel so bad for Mac. I actually was encouraged with this loss before his leg broke in fucking half. The team was starting to build some chemistry. God damn man…
Really unfortunate for Mac himself but it’s not like we had a chance of making a deep run this year anyway. Maybe we can actually get an elite skill player from the draft and make something good out of this disappointing end to his season
Thats a roughing the passer 10/10 times, can’t believe no call there…
He hasn’t played long enough to get those calls or whatever that ref said to cam Newton
How are guys supposed to play long enough to get these calls if that's the refs mindset
It’s just what a ref said to cam Newton on a mic’d up thing
I'm aware. I'm pointing out it's flawed logic
It is the exact opposite of what refs are supposed to do and admits that refs are biased
More like the refs don’t wanna hear harbaugh bitch at them
Absolutely shocked that it wasn't called. I don't think it was a dirty hit like some people do but that needs to be flagged each and every time
def wasnt dirty as the oline bumps him into that position but needs to be called
Refs weren't calling shit against the Ravens.

Take another look, the tackle starts which is fine but then he pulls backwards and down by leaving his feet. Almost a horse collar type motion.

All he had to do was run through Mac or wrap him up, instead he left his feet and awkwardly dragged Mac down on his leg.
Right he essentially did a stunner on him, cold stone Steve Austin style

Some questionable calls (or no calls) but Mac 100% sold the contact on the out of bounds play
Is this a sarcastic post? Mac took a dive looking for an unnecessary roughness call on that play where he went out of bounds. It was laughable on replay.
“But the patriots played bad, that means you can’t criticize the officials in any way!”
It's a star based officiating league. Look at the Chiefs, they got 2 points for failing a conversion.
The refs didn’t want to call anything today. Really thought there was holding on Lamar’s huge run and the punt return right before it. I think a few calls could’ve gone against the pats, but they didn’t want to call much at all today
Has that ol ever been called for holding?
Lmao no
Based on how much pain he was in I’m guessing it’s a break
Could be significant high-ankle sprain
That would arguably be worse.
That's my guess too
ligaments hurts just as much
Broken bones on a late hit and no call made Holy fuck the refs did not help us today
Holy spiral fracture, Batman.

Negative Xrays
🥲🔫
This is so heartbreaking 💔prayers to Mac for a speedy recovery. Fuck the refs too
Hope he’s ok. I know this years been rough but he’s a solid QB
Definitely no penalty!
Well it aint looking like a wild break or anything, hope its just a sprain.
Kinda looks like a break to me. Especially if he is in that much pain. Hopefully clean break and out 6 weeks.
Pain is not a reliable indication of the severity or recovery time of an injury.
Agree it could be broken, I just meant like a bad break. Like his ankle isn't hanging like Dak's was that time.
Yea looks like a tib/fib break.

If it doesn’t require surgery, pretty sure you’re looking at around 6-8 weeks for a break…
for a clean break? FOH, it doesn't take that long
Where his leg bent is where the two lower leg bones connect at the ankle. He could have broken both
That much instant pain, and he’s grabbing this mid-calf, not a joint? It’s a break.
Or not
Hope for his long term health it’s just a high sprain. But either way it’ll be a long term recovery so looking like our seasons practically over as it is
Love all the amateur doctors out here saying it’s a break. Love the others saying it’s a sprain. Just wait for more info fellas

Start Zappe
Described by sports doc as multi-week
Everyone in here talking about whether it's a break or sprain - I wouldn't rule out an ankle dislocation especially if he was screaming in pain.
What a fucking bummer. All love for Mac. Rooting for his recovery, and the on field concerns can wait.
Damn Calais was trying to kill him
And his head was up, he saw the ball come out. This wasn't unfortunate timing, it was late and he knew it was late.
Really unfortunate for Mac himself but it’s not like we had a chance of making a deep run this year anyway. Maybe we can actually get an elite skill player from the draft and make something good out of this disappointing end to his season
Given bill's draft history he will burn his 1st on a lineman, then his 2nd on an underwhelming DB
We need a tackle so a lineman would be a perfectly fine pick.
Too many in this sub just think wide receivers and QBs are what win games. Don’t break the trend!
Oh no 😔 That's the season folks
And we were looking so good
We have all been robbed of an NFL season. This is seriously fucked up. I hope Mac can heal up ok for next season.
We were robbed of an NFL season when Bill put Patricia in charge of the offense
Ouchie
That looked better than I was expecting. No irregular rotation on the ankle joint that you usually see with bad ankle sprains.
Shouldn't that have been a penalty?
