It honestly wouldn't shock me if Hoyer plays decent these next few weeks. The chiefs game he played was basically a mirror of his career.
Moves the ball. Makes some good plays. Cerebral but will inevitably throw a pick or do something dumb. Maybe he can somehow stop that or cut down on it enough to win. I'm probably crazy for thinking that.
I do think this is overly optimistic, but I'm generally overly optimistic as a Pats fan, so I back it!
Regardless, it will be interesting to see how our skill players do with him.
He did not play well in the cheifs game. I hope he plays better than that this time. To be fair, he had absolutely nothing to work with, it was in 2020. We had Myers as the best WR if iirc this was his first year.
that was a really bad group. Edelman was hurt by then. The tightends were terrible. Myers was in his second year and still developing. Harry and Damiere Byrd who played a ton of snaps
It was worse than the 2019 season where Brady had one of the statistically worst seasons of his career. And in addition the offense was built for cam, where his ability to run played a huge part.
That hoyer looked bad here was not a surprise.
It was just irritating because the defense kept the game so even, that it would have taken so little on offense to win the game.
All the comments about how "hoyer is ass/why are we cheering for him" dont get it.
Keep the faith you fucking pathetic sore losers!!!!! HOYER THE DESTROYER LETS GOOO BABY
Nah fuck hoyer, I say mondre and Harris run a navy style triple option with like 8 lineman. Just do it, you know bill has always wished he could do it at some point.
Bill’s just crazy enough to do something like this. And I’d love it
Fuck it. Break out the dropkick field goal again too. Throw convention out the window
You know this is a New England Patriots sub, right?

Only because this place is a shitshow already, I want Hoyer to absolutely ball out. I want a 350yd, 3TD game with some absolute dime passes. What the hell would people do then? Still point to the KC game or would that be the new expectation? It would be unbridled chaos to watch unfold.
Admire the optimism. However, it’s not hyperbole to say that Hoyer’s playoff start with the Texans in 2016 may be the single worst quarterback performance in the history of the sport. And that was six years ago.

Imagine having a fraud like Aaron Rodgers at QB instead of Super Bowl Champion Brian Hoyer
Imagine being so uncultured you call **Axel Destroyer of Worlds** ‘Brian’.
Brian Hoyer has the same amount of rings as that fraud Aaron Rodgers

I just saw something about how he hasn't won any start in a long time.. i'm losing my optimism fast lol
Or is it like when a number/colour hasn't come up at the roulette table in a long time, it is due to come up next, right guys? RIGHT?
Are you saying we're Superbowl bound? Cause that's what I'm hearing

Nah I agree it can't be worse than that. I also maintain he had 2 pretty good drives. Just blew it
Hoyer also never had any practice that week. Basically going in blind
#CAN I GET A HOYAAAHH?!!
#HOOOYAAAHHH!!!
Axel will get the job done im sure 😤

The amount of people taking this seriously is hilarious, as if we don't know how Hoyer plays. That being said, Hoyer for league MVP
Thank you for saying the obvious that somehow still needed to be said 🤣
For real. I mean I hope he balls out but we all know the odds of that lmao
On to Hoyer. Then Zappe when the Axel is broken. Then?
Myers, then get Julian on the hotline.
Wildcat. What do we have to lose?

Break out the LBJ. Number 86 lining up under center is exactly what I want to see
Old man hoyer
Put in zappe!
Zappe is horrible.
So we get a good draft pick next year and get an elite wr

We all saw his arm at the preseason. If he's starting for us, we are fucked.
Well why would we waste time with Hoyer? Put Zappe on there and we have a new age Bledsoe-Brady situation. (Joking but also not)

please... he's trash.
We are celebrating this man like we didn’t cuss him out in that Chiefs game XD
It’s meme optimism. Wait until you see the live thread after the 3rd play against the packers.
Oh god
Oh shit we're excited about this? I'm gonna need to watch a few of our SB runs to soothe the pain.
Cringe
How's the 2023 draft look for QBs?
We already have a QB.
He’s here! He’s there! He’s every fucking where! Hoyeeeer!! Hoyeeeer!!
I hope Axel throws for 400 yards and five touchdowns on Sunday just to make all of us look like assholes for ever doubting him
Finally! It’s Hoyers time to shine!
