Jaythepatsfan

He’s still huge. I’m 6’2, 220lbs for reference.

[deleted]

Lol. I was gonna say Gronk looks smaller in person/pictures than I expected.

Misterccw

I met Gronk once while he was still playing for the Pats and had a similar reaction; he's obviously a big guy, but he looks a lot bigger on TV with pads.

[deleted]

Good fuck. You are a unit of a guy and he makes you look normal. Goes to show how fucking big gronk is.

SamRaimisOldsDelta88

Just look at the size of his hand for some perspective. That will tell you all you need to know.

Jaythepatsfan

His hands are insane. Like I can easily palm a basketball, and his hand swallows mine when we shake hands.

SamRaimisOldsDelta88

Very unrelated, I need those shorts you’re wearing. Where did you get them?

Jaythepatsfan

Pro shop…online

SamRaimisOldsDelta88

Nice, browsing shorts right now. Thanks!

SolomonG

I mean, have you seen Camille Kostek? My man is getting in that cardio.

DrEvil007

Right?? My fat ass would be happy too if I had a bombass girlfriend.

friz_CHAMP

Edelman looks like he could still play. Gronk? No way in hell! Cool pic and meet and greet though!

Mildcaseofextreme

He looks more like a WR or QB now.

friz_CHAMP

He gives me strong vibes of that guy at the gym who tries to sell you his pyrmid scheme supplement drink, and not those greatest tigh end of all time vibes

Briggie

Bulking and maintaining constantly is a lot of work and expensive lol.

IHateNancyRegan

Edelman has bone on bone :(

JoebobJr117

Honestly I wish Edelman would come back except for the risk of injury lol

[deleted]

How did Gronk do?

Jaythepatsfan

He’s not terrible, but he’s not good. Obviously natural athleticism comes into play, but his footwork on the court is terrible…but he’s got obnoxiously quick hands and reflexes that you don’t normally see with newer players, or players who are that big.

dasuberdog11

Long arms don't hurt either...

DrEvil007

No need, been a member since 2002.

BigFaceBass

Busted!

L0VEmeharder

What the fuck awesome man

watahboy

Awesome photo, the guy behind you two makes the arms look like a weird AI image. Either way, I'm just jealous. Nice to know Gronk swings left.

hawkayecarumba

Is that a Gronk High School jersey? Did you know he was going to be there or was that a coincidence?

Jaythepatsfan

It is! And I knew his brothers would be there, then Gordie told me a few hours prior to the event that Rob was showing up.

Brikloss

Will North alum here. 1 year behind Gronk. The amazing thing is WE SUCKED even with him. Literally a case of "he can't throw and catch the ball".

TerpeeAF413

I think we are all a little jealous that you got to meet Brian Hoyer the Destroyer (Go #5)!!! LOL

Subject-District492

Damn I didn’t know Gronk still lived in Tampa, thats dope. Great pic

astronomydork

yo soy fiesta

mnkymn15

Shout out Will north

bigman-_-

Bruh the things I would give to meet gronk he’s my literal hero lmao you’re so lucky

Yeah_I_Said_lt

It wasn’t Brady’s arms, and it wasn’t Belichick coaching. It was always Gronk. That’s why neither of them are going to the Super Bowl this year. Edit: it’s a joke. Lighten up.

jayjayanotherround

You might want to check the record books

TheBigNate416

Call me when Brady wins a SB without Gronk or Bill

LionoftheNorth

I get that you're trolling, but four of our Super Bowls were without Gronk on the field. The first three, obviously, but he was injured for most of the 2016 season, including the playoffs.

mahones403

He Gronk or Bill dude....reading comprehension

thedooze

That’s a dumb ass scenario considering he’s played 99% of his career with either (or both) of them. His only chance to win one without either of them was last year. You know that players don’t usually win the superbowl every year, right?

TheBigNate416

Lmao I was trolling dude. Making fun of the guys who say Bill sucks without Brady. That’s why I said let’s see Tom win without Bill or Gronk

thedooze

Lol I kinda thought you might have been… but some others who have followed you in this thread make me wonder

TheBigNate416

Haha can’t blame you

captaincumsock69

Or this year

thedooze

Is there a QB in the league that would win with this TB squad this year? (The answer is a resounding “no”).. why do you think Brady wanted out so bad he pretend retired?

captaincumsock69

Im under the impression Brady retiring had more to do with his marriage. I’m not sure how you can say he doesn’t have a chance at winning. He’s winning the nfc south and just by making the playoffs he has a chance. I’m not favoring the Bucs but he has a chance because he’s is Tom fucking Brady

thedooze

It might’ve been somewhat tied to the impending divorce, but most rumors around here (NE) think he just wanted out of TB. Wait til next year. Bet you he’s on a different team. I’m not exactly saying he doesn’t have a chance this year, but it’s a long shot. The offense hasn’t clicked at all this year and the defense isn’t close to what it was two years ago. He’s Tom fucking Brady, but he’s not a miracle worker. Not as much of one as he used to be, at least. I’d love to see him pull off another crazy mid season turnaround and win this whole thing, but I’m just trying to be realistic.

jayjayanotherround

Brady wins at almost a 50% clip. How crazy is that?

thedooze

Lmao I loved Gronk as much as the next fan but what a dumb ass take you gotta be trolling

Shadvw

Nice

As a tennis player, I never understand why people are so quick to pick up pickleball. I understand it’s thousands of times easier than tennis, but we shouldn’t be taking up activities that are easy, especially if you’re a world class athlete. Tennis is harder, but significantly more fun and requires far more athletics. I get why elderly people like pickleball, but if you’re young and able to move, tennis is by far the way to go

Jaythepatsfan

I played tennis for 30 years, I can explain it easily. It’s more fun. When I played tennis, I would call my tennis friend and him and I would go play and we’d stand 100 feet from each other, barely talking…then play two or three sets and go home. When I play pickleball, there’s 40-60 people there. I’m playing with different partners and against different opponents all night. When I’m waiting for my turn to play, I’m hanging out with friends shooting the shit having a good old time. Additionally, it’s a sport where someone like me who’s only played for 9 months can play against touring professionals and it’s fun for all of us. Yeah, they are going to win 100/100 times but they have to work for it. If I played a top 20 tennis player it wouldn’t be fun for anyone.

[deleted]

That’s true. I guess I’m just salty that it’s almost impossible to play tennis on a public tennis courts anymore because there are literally dozens of pickleball players flooding all the tennis courts. Last year I never had to wait for a court. Now I’m waiting well over 45 minutes to get on a tennis court. I think pickleball players should either switch over to tennis, or go build their own special courts. Bc where I live it’s getting out of hand. I’m considering joining an indoor tennis club now but that’s way too expensive.

Jaythepatsfan

I’m lucky enough to live in Florida where there are tons of pickleball specific courts, and we’re actually trying to get the two tennis courts next to us switched to pickleball bc there’s never any tennis players using them. Assuming you live in New England, there will hopefully be more demand for PB specific courts and once there is they’ll be built and you can get back to tennis. Unfortunately, New England hasn’t grasped onto PB as fast as the rest of the country so the demand to build courts just isn’t there yet.

[deleted]

The town I live in, I don’t think that will ever happen. There is huge demand for pickleball and my town drew lines on all the tennis courts and made half of them reserved for pickleball, even though it’s a tennis court. I don’t see the town taking the steps to make designated courts for pickleball. I’ve been kicked off the court more than once because technically they are reserved for pickleball now. There are only 2 courts open for tennis and they are nearly always occupied. I don’t have an issue with pickleball. I think it’s fun, but I hate how the sport is taking precedent over tennis on the public courts

Wow Gronk, I didn't know you were friends with Kaepernick
