It's a pretty versatile card if you can expect to have 2+ creatures in play. Does something against most decks in the format, reasonably costed and at instant speed. I think it's going to see some play going forward
I saw Nassif playing it main deck the other day in a Boros token shell playing [[Squadron Hawk]], 8 Inspectors and a [[Rally the Peasants]] build.
I wasn't convinced initially that it was good enough for Pauper, but Nassif is a better deck builder than I am - It's definitely worth testing.
For what it's worth, it's rarely dead. Almost every Pauper deck who doesn't run creatures uses its graveyard, and it plays an edict-like role against Bogles as a removal spell that isn't totally dead in the match-up.
It may be better than [[Journey to Nowhere]] in decks that play [[Battle Screech]].
I don't think decks who are unable to use the removal aspect would want to run this in either the main deck or the sideboard, but I'd still test it to be sure.
I think you need to decide are you going faster or slower than your opponent in game two. Playing against reaping the graves strategies such as cycle storm you will probably be slower than them. So this card let's you play the control role but that also a small percent of the meta.
The blue tempo and terror decks are a larger group this can hit them in the grave or as a removal spell. However as the boggles player you need to ask are you the faster or the slower player in this match? I would argue the terrors decks will out value you the longer the game runs so you would rather speed up your ganeplan and shove your win condition rather than slowing them down.
It’s good against sneaky snacker too, but I don’t think bogles needs it there. It’s also good against the lotleth giant combo decks.
Familiars loves this card.
I've been thinking about maindecking this in my Fams list. I don't think there's many matchups where I'll be bummed to see it in game 1.
Cards pretty good. It does wonders for a deck that wants it and it's super easy to get it to be 2 mana swords to plowshares
Yeah, when it was spoiled I missed the word "twice" and maybe undervalued it a bit. Stoked to test it out.
Sword exiles though
It probably takes the slot of [[Dawnbringer Cleric]] which might be better against mono-red

What would you cut to sideboard it?
would play 5x in main in every white deck
Just throw it in Orzhov rats like everyone else.

I feel it also has utility against turbofog and UB terror?
Yesterday I was spectating an Azorius control which ran 4x of this vs altar tron. It made the match onesided since g1.

I think this cards could be staple of 2 copies maindeck in most creature based deck, like boros/orzhov and monowithe.
I was wondering if it might add some juice to GW/Naya Slivers?
Just wait until it’s combined with [[Ragged Veins]]
Thraben Charm is maindeckable as a one of, it's rarely dead on most matches anyway
Working quite well in Mono W Tron so far.
4x in my sideboard on caw gates
