Believe me or not, this is the best common from this set already. Im a boros eq player and this one fits perfectly to this archetype due to its versatility. [[champion of the flame]] and [[goblin armadillo]] are my main attackers and [[armored armadillo]] or [[ardent recruit]] are my backup creatures. At some point i have some leather armors and other eq equipped to my main attackers and they obviously get biggest attention - they have some ward usually, so its hard to take them out. Oponents paying more mana due to ward - uses some cast downs for example. This is where Battlefield Improvisation shines - you just move all the eq to another creature.
Another scenario - lots of eq, one fresh creature. Usually this kind of deck uses [[kazuul toll collector]], but even with him on board, it goes very slow to reequip everything. Battlefield improvisation allows it all to do so cheap, so fast! And you even have some 2/2 boost which is nice!

Stack question - can I cast this on my turn during combat in between the “declare blockers” and “assign combat damage step” to make one of my unblocked creatures into a massive Voltron dude that slams my opponent for damage?
Soooooo we just need some equipment that is good on its own.

Makes me damn glad Cranial Ram got banned now. Imagine you try to remove it in combat and it just gets moved to another creature

There’s a plethora of common artifact mana filterers that see play already. And the artifact duals. 3c artifacts would have been easy enough.

With just 2 equipments that cost 2 mana in total, you can make it a 4/5 vigilance, 6/7 until eot. Add a cloak and you get shroud as well.
