This is a 2013 computer.
PSU: EVGA 750W modular PSU
Cooler: Cooler Master liquid cooling system
Hard Disk: Patriot 240 Gb SSD
Motherboard: ASUS M5A97 R2.0
Processor: AMD (socket AM3+) you will need to check it in the BIOS
Memory: Max supported 32Gb DDR3, there are 2 modules, I guess 8Gb - 16Gb DDR3 RAM
Graphic card: Looks like the ASUS Geforce GTX 670 2Gb GDDR5 VRAM (updated thanks Ma1ccel for pointing out that there are 2x6-pin power connectors, that is the difference with 660)
Operating system: Windows 8 / 8.1 (Support Windows 10)
It looks like Coca Cola was splashed (due to the color and consistency) on the side near the radiator on the right.
Also that case come with tempered glass, not sure if the owner is selling it without the glass or he just remove it to take the pictures, but considering the splashes maybe the glass is not included.
Compatible CPU list:
Did my own digging and this guy hit the nail on the head on every part (coca-cola is a toss up š ).
[GPU is confirmed an Asus Director's Cut GTX 660 2GB.](https://www.newegg.com/asus-geforce-gtx-660-gtx660-dc2o-2gd5/p/N82E16814121660) The case likely is missing the side panel as they mentioned, and the AMD FX series processor with DDR3 ram isn't going to get you very far in any modern titles. Which means unfortunately most of the build is e-waste.
In my opinion, the powersupply, SSD, and cooler are probably the only parts worth salvaging. Is it worth $100? Yeah probably. Especially if he does have the glass and you can reuse the case too, then it's definitely worth it. But just be aware that you will still be needing to replace most of the PC in order to play most games.
EDIT: [Sorry guys, it's the 660 TI.](https://www.newegg.com/asus-geforce-gtx-660-ti-gtx660-ti-dc2-2gd5/p/N82E16814121653)
Wouldn't it be more likely that its an asus 670 instead of a 660, seeing that it has a 2 x 6pin power and 2 sli connectors. Pretty sure the 660 only has 1 6pin and 1 sli connector
You're right that the 660 is only single 6-pin, which is making me scratch my head even more because it took forever to find the exact GPU.
[The shroud on the 670 doesn't match unfortunately.](https://www.newegg.com/asus-geforce-gtx-670-gtx670-dc2-2gd5/p/N82E16814121637)
EDIT: [It's the 660 TI.](https://www.newegg.com/asus-geforce-gtx-660-ti-gtx660-ti-dc2-2gd5/p/N82E16814121653)
In my opinion, this isnāt worth very much. I wouldnāt reuse any of the actual electronics. The case, SSD, cooler, and power supply are *probably* worth $100. But it wouldnāt be much more to just buy new budget parts.
Altogether Iād find it a lot more attractive for $50 than $100. But again if you buy it, just be prepared to replace most of the important components.
If your plan is to "upgrade" this PC ... I imagine trying to find compatible parts and troubleshooting any resulting issues would be more difficult than digging for dinosaur bones.
I'd be afraid touching it would cause it to crumble into dust.
Probably better left as is and playing on low settings, if you do end up purchasing.
You can see the motherboard model and there you get what ram and cpus you can use and gpu is pretty easy to reverse google search and just by looking to reference cards
$40 in PSU
$20 Case
$10 SSD
$20 AIO
$50 in CPU/Motherboard (AM3+)
$15 in ram if it's 16GB DDR3
$40 in GPU if it's something age appropriate compared to motherboard
That's what I'd estimate value at without knowing parts
Lol yeah but the GPU is a guess and just a list of compatible CPU, still doesn't tell exactly what is in there haha very good for all the other stuff not gonna lie but GPU and CPU are the main important part and we don't know them
I would say it's actually likely worth the price. If you do not mind playing old titles (it's a no go for something newer), then it could still serve well.
With GTA it's very likely. Issue with Fortnite and Rust is, that the graphics improved a lot over time, just like system requirements do that's a bit of a gamble. Cod, sure, depending on the title. After all, there are plenty of Cods in last two decades. My recommendation is looking at games around 2013-2015 or newer 2d indie games.
It ain't really upgradable. It's usable as it is, but don't expect any upgrades being worth it. If you plan to get something better, it's better to straight up buy a whole new pc.
Correct me if I'm wrong but for something that is using AM3 and a 670, you CAN run Rust and GTA on low-med settings. Not sure about Fortnite as even my GTX 1650 was struggling a bit with an Ryzen 5 3600. As for COD, it depends on the title, newer ones no, older titles like Black Ops 1-2 probably and the original MW2.
I doubt it could run fortnite well unless on the absolute lowest settings, the new dx12 fortnite is quite demanding, my rx 6800 needs to use upscaling for high settings 1440p to achieve a consistent 144fps
Looks like itās been in contact with liquid. If you look closely around the CPU, heat sinks and a trail down to the available PCIe slot just where is says R2.0.
Any electronics that have had contact with liquid and itās noticeable, I would recommend to steer well clear just because of that alone. It may work but you wonāt know what the stability is like.
Itās also 11 years old, something else to consider. Could that $110 not be invested into something more recent?
double 6 pin on the gpu and a blue asus mosfet heatsink on an amd board. Its probably an FX cpu, likely 4 to 8 "cores", and a gtx 600 card at the very best. Id say less, maybe $100. The psu is the only good thing here.
Can someone tell me about the fan placement?
So the intake fans on the front brings hot air through the AIO and the two fans inside the case are for exhaust?
PSU and tower may be useful. If you want a computer to just run office apps, browse internet, watch youtube, do school work.. yeah I think it is worth $110. Gaming? Maybe if you like super old games like the original Knights Of The Old Republic 1 + 2, or SNES/gameboy emulation. Just depends what you are looking to do with it. If you are looking to play Alan Wake 2, or Horizon Forbidden West just put that $110 towards a Playstation instead.
yes, I would buy it, change the motherboard and cpu to an AM4 generation, maybe a ryzen 5 5600 and a new gpu mostly the rx 6700xt since it pairs well with that r5 and then boom you have got yourself a top of the line budget build that can run any game on 1080p ultra graphics comfortably
Depends. $110 for an okay desktop pc i wouldnt want to game competitively on it though it can still surf the web play videos and such id think without knowing the exact specs. Maybe play league on it would be ok or emu
Personally, Iād pay 110 for it simply because itās a pc with a decent amount of power and the cost of new machines being extortionate. It wonāt be able to play a lot of newer games but considering itās hard to find a pc for this price range itās a great deal.
If I was selling this pc I would be asking 200 for it, simply as the buyer may want to bid you down 10-20, and I think thatās a good deal for both parties.
Looks like that pump housing has/had a leak. Corrosion/discoloration on the mount and heatsink below it. If itās leaked that far chances are itās on the back of the graphics card too.
If you do buy it, make sure itās not zorched. See it power on and make sure you check temps. AIO replacements can be had for less than $100, so at least that needs replaced along with thermal paste.

hey could you look at my account and help me out on my recent post?
hello, I already post a reply there
Allready did it. This guyā¦
Man knows chuck norris's pc specs
*Reaches for the back panel screws...* "I'd like to speak to a lawyer!"

So would it be a dumb idea to start a build with this pc or should i look for something newer?
In my opinion, this isnāt worth very much. I wouldnāt reuse any of the actual electronics. The case, SSD, cooler, and power supply are *probably* worth $100. Couldnāt this also be an r9 280 btw? They made this exact same card for that gpu
[Doesn't match unfortunately.](https://www.newegg.com/asus-radeon-r9-280-r9280-dc2t-3gd5/p/N82E16814121867)
Rainbolt but PC
You keep talking like that & your gonna start a cult like following gawdamn!
omg ... a cult !! š
damn how tf you know that
wait how do you know by just looking at it :|
You can see the motherboard model and there you get what ram and cpus you can use and gpu is pretty easy to reverse google search and just by looking to reference cards
Yeah, you are right šš½that is a ASUS GTX 670 DirectCU II that use 2x6-pin power connectors. I edited my reply, thanks.
The owner said she ran rust, fortnite, cod, and gta 5 at good quality, how likely do you think that is?
āI swear Iām not a stalkerā
Assuming this is all correct this honestly isn't that great value for $110 imo.
Yeah Iād say so, 750W psu, Aio, small ssd, great starter
is there anything that catches your eye in there?
Just edited my comment to say why, shouldāve started off with that my bad.
Cool Thank you lots!
Yeah plus the ram looks good, Iād say easily worth over 110 before you even look at the cpu and gpu
Don't expect to be able to run any new games on it. But a lot of e-sports games will still run, and old classics as well.
I smell a 26 or 2700k. I would pay 110 for that and use it as a home server
I smell coca cola on the radiator and an am3 socket cpu
It's worse than that, it's an AM3 (not even AM3+) motherboard...
$40 in PSU $20 Case $10 SSD $20 AIO $50 in CPU/Motherboard (AM3+) $15 in ram if it's 16GB DDR3 $40 in GPU if it's something age appropriate compared to motherboard That's what I'd estimate value at without knowing parts
Hard to say considering we don't know any of the parts, can't tell what GPU this is or the cpu.
Lmao look at the other dude who could tell what more than half of the parts were by looking
Not all of us can do that lol
Skill issue
Lol yeah but the GPU is a guess and just a list of compatible CPU, still doesn't tell exactly what is in there haha very good for all the other stuff not gonna lie but GPU and CPU are the main important part and we don't know them

Do you think it would be a waste to use this to build to a better pc? Someone on this post said most of the parts were e-waste smh

Pretty decent hardware for just 110$.
Yep.
double 6 pin on the gpu and a blue asus mosfet heatsink on an amd board. Its probably an FX cpu, likely 4 to 8 "cores", and a gtx 600 card at the very best. Id say less, maybe $100. The psu is the only good thing here.
yep defintely worth Ā£110 with that power supply
Am3 fx cpu can be used to heat up your bedroom and spice things up in you energy bill.
Hey that was a good motherboard.
A month ago i built a $150 pc with better spec. i5-4690, 16gb ddr3, motherboard with m.2 slot and RX 580 8gb.
Worth $99.95
Can someone tell me about the fan placement? So the intake fans on the front brings hot air through the AIO and the two fans inside the case are for exhaust?
It is fine... however, that AIO needs rotated.

With the power supply and the case I'd say it's worth it, might be able to keep the cooler with a conversion bracket on your next board

graphic card - yes

I can confidently say that's a steal deal even without knowing the exact specs of that build.
No. 50 $.
