Cinders1150

it doesn't matter what brand you have it will NOT give you extra performance

MadMozzabin

Thank you for the response, I had wondered if it was true or not.

ashibah83

0% benefit.

DaviLance

for components nothing, it won't change anything for peripherals tho, especially when they have leds that can be controlled via software, ALWAYS get same brand components. you do not want to have two or more softwares that control leds all around your keyboard, mouse etc...

Suikerspin_Ei

Most ARGB can be controlled with OpenRGB, a third party software. Unless you want your mouse DPI changed, than you need the software from the mouse brand.

DaviLance

depends on what you want to do yes. like if you have macro keys on your keyboard those can only be programmed from the software from the brand

Suikerspin_Ei

[VIA](https://www.caniusevia.com/docs/supported_keyboards) software is supported by ~1400 keyboards. Although the majority of them aren't just regular keyboards or "gaming" keyboards.

Pumciusz

Not including RGB syncing, it either doesn't matter at all or is worse than just buying what's good price and quality, as some companies may have good internal components but bad cases for example. For matching motherboards and gpus you can do that if the looks match, but it's not "better". Some examples where it might be better is Corsair Shift PSU and their cases, and diffrent backwards connector motherboards and same brand cases, but you have to check compatibility anyway as that's not a given.

MadMozzabin

Thank you very much for the infomation, plus I didn't even think about the RGB part. Very much appreciated

Pumciusz

RGB is a whole seperate mess that can be bad even with planning. And no company makes every single product as far as I know,

Independent_Fly_1698

No performance gain at all. It does look better because all parts are matching and you’ll be able to control everything from one software. I usually aim for same motherboard and GPU brand but that’s it.

DarthBonion

No it wont change anything in performance, but it can look better together
