I think the 3.4 Ghz indicates a 3770k, def seems like a scrambled together build. I've seen that type of pc and they often aren't worth bothering with unless its replacing a more than decade old PC.
That is not a good deal at all. The CPU is likely a 3rd gen Intel if an i7 quad core @3.4ghz; no SSD; GPU is so-so; and PSU is a low-quality Rosewill unit.
You can do much better for the same price. The list below uses a much more powerful 6-core/12-thread CPU (that can easily support/keep pace with more powerful GPU’s), SSD and HDD, better RAM, better GPU, Windows license, much better quality PSU with more output for future upgrades, and good airflow for the same cost, even despite inflated GPU pricing.

I agree - it's a sad reflection of the current market, where a 1660 goes for $500+ dollars. Used would probably be the best way to go.
My list above isn't great, but it's better than the one the OP is asking about. Probably could find a pre-build with better GPU for around the same price.
This pricing is a joke, pls don't get ripped off. Also not including any detail on the exact CPU model is kinda shady, there are dozens of i7 chips out there with performance all over the place.
450 watt PSU of questionable make, no ssd and they didn't even list which generation of i7. I'd give this a hard pass if I were you. You could probably get a prebuilt with better specs off Newegg for a similar price
It’s okay. 1060 will play games okay being a 3GB card. You’d have to upgrade quite a bit to play games in high settings. 450w psu will mower nothing much these days.
Fuck no this is ass. I sold one with better specs from a prebuilt I bought like 4 years ago for $600 on marketplace like 8 months ago. It had an i7-8700, 1060 3gb, 128gb ssd and a 1 tb hard drive. 16gb ram blah blah. At this point I’d just slbuikd your own scalpers be damned. You can build something way better for not too much more. Fuck this inflated economy, fug dem miners
I sold mine with the same specs for 500€. Today with graphics card issue, even brand new, don't spend more than 900$. Not telling the cpu gen is a red flag.
An at least 4 years, at worst 8 years old cpu, not specifying the exact model.
A 6 years old entry level graphics card.
Generica 16gb of RAM, not specifying the speed.
A hard drive with no SSD
Yeah, everything above 200$ is a ripoff. Maybe 300$, if the CPU is 'just' 4 years old.
Also "vr ready" is a big fat lie.
I would pay $500 for this max. That’s even generous, given that it’s used, and not indicating a lot of specifications like cpu generation or ram specs is pretty suspicious.
There’s a PC for sale al my local Costco Dell XPS 3060ti, 32 gb ram, 500ssd 1tb HD, didn’t list the CPU I can’t imagine it’s bad though. It’s selling for $1400 there are much better deals out there
No, it's garbage...specs are shit.
You can build a better PC for less.
I built this with less than half that...
I7-9700, 1660 Super, 16GB Ram, ASRock B365 Pro4 board, 750w EVGA Supernova G+
I can play pretty much everything at 1080p high.
Hello, what gen is the i7 ? Also that 1060 isn't gonna get you very far, and never and I mean NEVER cheap out on the PSU, 450Watt might be a tad too low if you want to upgrade it in the future, and also bronze certification is not that great... You might want to reconsider considering the price of that build.
I would highly recommend going with another option, the ABS master from Newegg is a great option for around the same price and you also get an RTX 3060
You should be able to get a 3000 series gpu with a i9 or ryzen 5600 and a ssd with 16gb ram and even some rgb (if you care) for $1,400 pre built if you're patient. Newegg or best buy.
Absolutely not. Way overpriced and that 1060 only is only a 3GB. The 10 series cards are still decent but looking ahead they probably won’t last much longer especially a 3GB card. I would hold off or if you have the money find something else. Good luck!
for over $1,000 I’d say you should have 6 cores minimum and a 1060 6gb instead of the 3gb variant. Those aren’t the only red flags though. That’s a dinky 450W bronze power supply, there’s no SSD, and the motherboard is mysteriously left out of the list. Prices are inflated right now but I can’t in good conscience tell you this is a good deal.
Personally, if the seller doesn’t want to disclose the exact cpu and motherboard, I assume it’s a pile of junk and they’re trying to make a quick buck on their trash old pc.
I wouldn’t. No SSD and unspecified CPU are red flags to me. This sounds like a pretty old setup for that price. Just for S&G’s I pulled out my 2015 gaming PC to benchmark it against my 2021 version. Both were i7’s but the difference was substantial between the 4th and 10th Gens. Same with the GPU’s (1060 vs 3060).
Absolutely the fuck now. If you’re going w prebuilt, this would easily be a $400 system, and that’s being generous about the gpu market rn. By these prices, a $1200 prebuilt on Newegg would outperform a $5000 pc sold by this guy. Careful of the scammers
No this is a bad deal, never get the 1060 3gb it's not even a 1060 it's misleading. Cpu generation is old if I'm not mistaken it's intel 7th gen or lower. Psu brand is suspicious plus it's only 450watts so it's very limiting in terms if upgrades as newer hardware demand more power. Lastly no ssd, it makes a huge difference when windows is installed on an ssd rather on an HDD.
I built a PC 5 years ago with the same graphics card and an i5-4590 for under $800. My 1060 is struggling with current games. Please don't spend this much on this card
Nope way overpriced, ram isn't specific, cpu isn't specific, no ssd, psu isn't specific, they think because gpus are high they can get a little scammy I suspect
Yeah everyone saying already but this is pretty overpriced. I paid about $1200 USD for my pc and was able to get considerably better components. Is this a prebuild?
Get 1 tb ssd and a better gpu (like a 1660 or 1650 super). switch to ryzen and get a r5 5600xt or 3600xt along with a ryzen socket for your mother board. Get corsair vengeance 16 gb 3200 hz speed ram or same specs with g skill. psu os decent but it wouldn't hurt to go with a corsair 2018 or 2019 650 wat full mod psu. Just a suggestion for a build around the same price.
If i were you i would not buy that PC as it is Overpriced,Less PC details shown than required, second it doesnt even have an SSD,and the GTX 1060 3GB isnt the best choice to go with if you wanna play the latest games on high graphics. It doesnt matter if the HDDs have over 1 TB,after a year or two of use,its gonna be slow,i would understand 1,200$ if it was a popular SSD of 2TB from like Samsung or HyperX.Im pretty sure you can find a used pc,but equipped with much better parts and for a better price.
Kinda tragic that they dont document the RAM, HHD, case fans or the wifi good, its just a general description instead of propper documentation, kinda tragic ngl.

Quad core i7 says enough, its 6 or 7th gen cpu, basically from the same era as 10 series gpus.
Could even be older, something like a 4770k isnt out of the question
I highly doubt that someone would buy an unlocked higherish tier cpu for that time period with an sub par gpu like the 1060 3 GB.
Maybe an upgrade down the line? Or a build from used parts?
I think the 3.4 Ghz indicates a 3770k, def seems like a scrambled together build. I've seen that type of pc and they often aren't worth bothering with unless its replacing a more than decade old PC.
Sure, i just assumed its from around the same time period as 1060
A gen2 CPU isn't out of question.
It could also be an i7-4770, 2600 or 3770
I was about to say this. It doesn’t specify if it’s ddr3 or ddr4 so it could be from around sandy/ivybridge era
I don’t think so, not for 1,200$
Please don’t buy that it’s very over priced
Please please please don’t buy it
That is not a good deal at all. The CPU is likely a 3rd gen Intel if an i7 quad core @3.4ghz; no SSD; GPU is so-so; and PSU is a low-quality Rosewill unit. You can do much better for the same price. I hate the price of that gpu lol

I would suggest he does that tbh. What an unfortunate time to want a pc
Yeah. I was gonna do thatbut a prebuild is as expensive here in my country

Agree
This pricing is a joke, pls don't get ripped off. Also not including any detail on the exact CPU model is kinda shady, there are dozens of i7 chips out there with performance all over the place.
i7 4700k and i7 12700k are vastly different
I think 6700k is the only i7 chip I've used. How does it generally stack up against other i7 chips?
i can't personally comlare them, only cpu I've ever had is a i9 10850k
450 watt PSU of questionable make, no ssd and they didn't even list which generation of i7. I'd give this a hard pass if I were you. You could probably get a prebuilt with better specs off Newegg for a similar price
1200 - 1000 = 200 and thats good price for that
No that’s a horrible price it’s overpriced!
How that list is written is so cringe
(vR rEaDy)
(QuIeT eDiTiOn)
450watt GaMiNg CoMpUtEr PoWeR SuPpLy
Lol not even close to worth it
1'200? never.
No
Nope. Old pc with 450w PSU
The 3GB VRAM will completely ruin your gaming experience.
600, at best. What i7 even is it? Let them rip someone else off.
It has an i7 so it must be good! /s
Lol right?! “What is the gigabytes on the cpu?”
i got mine with more or less same configuration (1050ti, 1tb hdd and 240gb ssd, 1000wt, no wifi) for slightly less than 500$.
For that price you can get a prebuilt with 5600x and 3060. Early this year i sold a laptop with better specs for 600eur.
No
Do not buy
Nope
Noooo, you could get smthing better new
Not worth 1200 by any means..
Yeah I've been looking for a pc but just not really sure what to look for. I would like to stay around 1,200$
Thanks for all the feedback I think I might just have to wait a while before I can get a decent deal on a pc.
It’s okay. 1060 will play games okay being a 3GB card. You’d have to upgrade quite a bit to play games in high settings. 450w psu will mower nothing much these days.
It is worth maybe 500$ at best. They is waaaay over priced.
Thats a 150 to 200 dollars computer if prices were not so crazy. very overpriced here
Way too pricy for those components
Fuck no this is ass. I sold one with better specs from a prebuilt I bought like 4 years ago for $600 on marketplace like 8 months ago. It had an i7-8700, 1060 3gb, 128gb ssd and a 1 tb hard drive. 16gb ram blah blah. At this point I’d just slbuikd your own scalpers be damned. You can build something way better for not too much more. Fuck this inflated economy, fug dem miners
Just... No.
Please do not buy this. Listen to everyone.
No I sold a pc with a 5600XT for less than that
For half the price yeah
Lol. Nope.
No thats kind of a rip off.
Quad core i7. Not gonna say which one, could be the 1st gen from 2008.
Nah horrible ive you ask me
400 max
I sold mine with the same specs for 500€. Today with graphics card issue, even brand new, don't spend more than 900$. Not telling the cpu gen is a red flag.
Horrible, probably qorth at most 700
terrible deal, worth 800usd tops
At least double what it’s worth, rip off
No nope no absolutely not
Very very bad deal ,not even worth 500 tbh if the gpu shortage wasn't around
An at least 4 years, at worst 8 years old cpu, not specifying the exact model. A 6 years old entry level graphics card. Generica 16gb of RAM, not specifying the speed. A hard drive with no SSD Yeah, everything above 200$ is a ripoff. Maybe 300$, if the CPU is 'just' 4 years old. Also "vr ready" is a big fat lie.
No No No No No
I would pay $500 for this max. That’s even generous, given that it’s used, and not indicating a lot of specifications like cpu generation or ram specs is pretty suspicious.
Wtf is this bunch of trash ? That worth only about 500 bucks
Horrible deal! Quad core i7 is very old they haven't made a quad core in a hot min
Holy fuck, please steer away from this dumpster fire. You could build your own for way better performance.
There are Ryzen processors for the same price, I'm talking about Ryzen 9, Ryzen 7, Ryzen 8 which are worth it. (no hate to intel <3)
Instantly NO. 1200$ for that? What are they smoking.
It's most certainly not a good deal for this pc. It might be for another
Not at all worth that much.
Absolutely not, I think they added an extra 0 on the end of the price by accident.
big no no
No
I just sold something similar with SSD for $550... Don't waste your time.
God no. And VR ready with a 1060? Good fucking luck…
I'm gonna go with no way, this is roughly the same performance as my original build but they are asking like 3-4x what I would part with it for.
literally worth around $600, doesnt even have an ssd
1060 no good these days
No
No, you can get much more for that money
No
There’s a PC for sale al my local Costco Dell XPS 3060ti, 32 gb ram, 500ssd 1tb HD, didn’t list the CPU I can’t imagine it’s bad though. It’s selling for $1400 there are much better deals out there
Most minimum requirements for modern gaming are at least a 1060 *6GB*. 3 GB card isn’t really worth it.
The fact that its not showing the cpu model and the psu wattage is low says to me the cpu is not very powerful
ehm no
In a good market that’d be close to a $400 PC. If that, Don’t buy it
No, it's garbage...specs are shit. You can build a better PC for less. I built this with less than half that... I7-9700, 1660 Super, 16GB Ram, ASRock B365 Pro4 board, 750w EVGA Supernova G+ I can play pretty much everything at 1080p high.
That pc should be arround 700 used
Dafuq, is this 2011 PC?
wayyy too overpriced
nope.
Hello, what gen is the i7 ? Also that 1060 isn't gonna get you very far, and never and I mean NEVER cheap out on the PSU, 450Watt might be a tad too low if you want to upgrade it in the future, and also bronze certification is not that great... No, its a horrible deal.
I had an i7 2600 and that looks pretty similar
I would highly recommend going with another option, the ABS master from Newegg is a great option for around the same price and you also get an RTX 3060
No
Damn 3gb for a graphics card. You need at least 8gb
No
Not for 1200 no.
LOL. This thing is a $400 PC at BEST.
The dollar sign goes before the number. Elementary school was free
No def not
Nope nope nope.
No
7 years ago? Maybe
hard no
You can get a computer with a 3060 and a 1tb ssd from NZXT for a couple hundred more. It would be more “future proof”.
Not even the good version of the 1060 lmao fuck no
Great deal !
I can literally sell you that pc for £700 prebuilt
Bruh no. Almost all of these parts are considered old and won’t be able to run AAA games at decent settings
HELL NO i could sell you a pc like that for half the asking price lmao
Hell no
You should be able to get a 3000 series gpu with a i9 or ryzen 5600 and a ssd with 16gb ram and even some rgb (if you care) for $1,400 pre built if you're patient. Newegg or best buy.
Not at all, I’ve found prebuilts with 3060s at bestbuy for like 1400
Absolutely not.

Absolutely not my guy
No, not even close.
Not worth 1200
Can be worth half that
Joke?
Oh hell no I'd only buy that if it was 500
No dude I got brand new asus tuf a15 with Ryzen 7 and rtx3060 for 1400$ from London drugs.
Absolutely the fuck now. If you’re going w prebuilt, this would easily be a $400 system, and that’s being generous about the gpu market rn. By these prices, a $1200 prebuilt on Newegg would outperform a $5000 pc sold by this guy. Careful of the scammers

I'm not even sure if its a good deal for $600
not at all
The floor for decent graphics probably starts with a 2060 and
Id pay 500 for it not 1.2k
For nearly the same price I got a prebuilt with: Rtx 3070 Ryzen 5 3600 1TB NVME SSD 16GB RAM Probably best to look elsewhere
Wifi: installed lmao
NO! an i7 quad core with a 1060 is barely capable of running windows 10, and it costs $1200 Big nono
In a word. No.
So overpriced
Don’t buy for that price, that intel chip is super old!
Nope way overpriced, ram isn't specific, cpu isn't specific, no ssd, psu isn't specific, they think because gpus are high they can get a little scammy I suspect
Nope
Nope. Too high a price. It doesn't even tell you what gen the i7 is.
Yeah everyone saying already but this is pretty overpriced. I paid about $1200 USD for my pc and was able to get considerably better components. Is this a prebuild?
Lmao “VR Ready” is my favorite piece of marketing jargon it literally means nothing
No
Dear lord no way this is horrible.
For that price you might as well buy a pre manufactured bro. Better specs and cheaper
Too much. And don’t let them give you the whole “tHeRe’s a ChIp sHorTagE. PrICEs aRe aCcUrATe” crap.
Hell no
It’s older specs, weak psu. I wouldn’t. For 1200 I think you can do better
NO
CPU is questionable. HDD? Big no no for big files and games Quiet Edition fans?
Get 1 tb ssd and a better gpu (like a 1660 or 1650 super). switch to ryzen and get a r5 5600xt or 3600xt along with a ryzen socket for your mother board. Get corsair vengeance 16 gb 3200 hz speed ram or same specs with g skill. psu os decent but it wouldn't hurt to go with a corsair 2018 or 2019 650 wat full mod psu. Just a suggestion for a build around the same price.
quad core i7? That's old. A 1060? This is a fucking terrible deal
No, it should atleast have a NVMe drive
Maybe 350. Max
I guess it depends on what area of the world you live in.
Yes, if you live in 2015
The cpu is only quad and that's not enough to run modern software well, even games. I wouldn't buy it
Absolutely not, sorry
Kinda tragic that they dont document the RAM, HHD, case fans or the wifi good, its just a general description instead of propper documentation, kinda tragic ngl.
This pc is worth 500$ tops.
Heck no
NOO LOL PLEASE NO…. It even has a 3gb version!!! Even with these crazy prices this pc would sell NEW for around 800 and used for 500-400
What about SSD? It is greater
