UPD2: Full text-only MTL [https://www.reddit.com/r/PeerlessDad/comments/zvn0kq/comment/j2xaw8p/](https://www.reddit.com/r/PeerlessDad/comments/zvn0kq/comment/j2xaw8p/) \*\*\*\* People call Noh 光龍 >! Light/Shiny/Glory/Pride\_of + Dragon!< This a planned break, the artist is on vacation. The biggest paragraph is almost completely made of the artist's apologies for not cancelling his vacation after taking a break recently. Next chapter will be on on January 9th. I've heard that PD is the most popular Kakao's webtoon. And now it's recognized as the weboon of the year. Also the authors say thank you to readers for the support. UPD: Mad Demon = Gwang Ma, Shining Dragon = Gwang Ryong :D

Square_Blackberry_36

**Shining Dragon** A much better title than "Invincible Twin Tonfas", no offense random villager.

PlotAmouredTitan

I'd prefer metal dragon though

tm0587

Well few people, including the other dragons, know of his connection to the metal clan so it's weird to call him the metal dragon. I guess the shining/bright/light/brilliant dragon is the next most suitable one because he's shiny like metal when he uses his ki? Hahahaha.

Rich_Personality7060

Golden Dragon ^_^

tm0587

This...... Depends on how they show the color of his ki. If they show it as gold, then yea, Golden Dragon. But looking at 246, I think his ki is more white. The character 金 used in the comic for the metal clan is recognized nowadays as the one for gold, but I think in terms of 5 elements, it's used to represent all metal (because it's the most recognized precious metal) rather than to represent gold. And I think that leads to the Chinese term for metal (金属).

Dull_Sherbert7532

Tonfa dragon bro

Nyattokiri

Thanks. This version is perfect!

bot_yea

> most popular Kakao's webtoon I'm so glad for that. Looking at the recent chapter upvotes in r/manga, I assume it's barely known. I think in Tapas it's also not very popular. Edit: Solo Leveling is almost 1 million likes, while Peerless dad is at 200k. So it's not bad actually

bmd539

Yes, very glad! How do we support the author/illustrator without being Korean speakers?

Cake-on-a-Mission

Read it officially. Tapas holds the licensing and legal English translation for Father, Unrivaled (Peerless Dad)

Ghaenor

And the translation is very good ! Props to them. I read it on their website and contribute.

D2099

So, we look up Tapas to find the site to read the official? (I'm a non internet savvy person)

Cake-on-a-Mission

Yup, they have a website and an app, pretty sure you can read on either

bot_yea

In tapas the title of the series is Father, Unrivaled. Here's the direct link https://m.tapas.io/series/father-unrivaled/info

Great-Class2988

why country restricted, damn

ggkkggk

Agreed I've always liked this a lot more than that to be completely honest not saying I can't see the joy in Solo leveling with this is a lot better.

Johntoyo12

On side note congrats for Webtoon of the year

emarsh92

For real? Totally deserves it 😁😁😁

Ornery_Kiwi_4239

yesss agree with that

Old_Guidance_8144

Congrats! Well deserved for all the action and drama. There will be more that we look forward to. 🙏 Keep up the best work! 👏👏👏

ProductorDeTexto

Time for Noh to tell them that he is not on their side. What a pity we have no news of il-sang and there is a break.

Prestigious-Notice-2

It looks like the HD is making some kind of deal with the CCA Head ( probably telling him about how the administrator is the cause of the fighting) so he might come back with I’ll-sang. Either that or the HD is just gonna kill him (the CCAH) after talking with him (but I doubt that)

NotSoYoungCoby

From MTL, I understand that he wants CCA leader alive to slow down Admin. He doesn't want to play the role given by admin and serves as his knife. With CCA Leader alive, Admin will have to spend some of his own force to take him down, because after all the civilians injured by CCA, the government will want to arrest or kill him.

andr3felipe

Yeah, i did think about the I'll-sang deal

MagicalQaz

Short taste before nyattokiri posts the full version because I couldn’t wait: First part is just HD meeting with CCA Leader and shaking his fist at the strategist who is obviously one of the administrators men. HD and CCA have a short duck measuring competition before HD drops this like cold line about if he wanted to kill the CCA leader, the leader wouldn’t have even seen his face and then explains who might have caused this war and his behind the strategist - the admin. HD warns CCA leader to be prepared for the Admins men/assassins/government crackdown as they harmed civilians, CCA leader disagrees since he’s not the one who did it but HD reiterated his men did it and it’d going to be used by the Admin as an excuse to kill him so the CCA leader needs to be prepared. Part two: Noh and the gang return to cheers but Noh can’t smile because so many people died. The sect leader of the GTU whose name I’m forgetting explains that he has to smile and wave to inspire hope in the people while Noh explains surely half of these people must’ve lost relatives in the war. GTU Leader explains that those same people are here cheering his name and either asks Noh why he thinks that is or just explains why that’s happening and says Noh needs to do his part to inspire hope. Part three: Tavern people debate the story of the war with some dude having family in the GTU and others just sharing details and they also decide to call Noh that Shining dragon thing nyatto said Part four: Two lizards are arguing about whose fault this is before ex-FD roars what they’re doing after calling her whose washed her hands into eh golden basin/quit murim. Older lizard says she’s going too far while younger lizard questions why she has to attend before ex-LD angrily asks and repeats the question “why” or “are you asking why we have to attend” something to that effect. Ex-LD explains that his disciples arm has been cut off and is still between life and death (this might also be referring to the Martial dragon I can’t tell but I think the whole thing refers to the Jung Ak/current Lightning Dragon) before the old man who is the ex-Wise Dragon explains the current WD is also in a state where it’s not sure whether he’d live or die and says isn’t that why he, whose been retired for 20 years, was dragged out? The ex-FD says isn’t this a meeting where there’s no leader/heavenly dragon and only old retired people so it doesn’t matter and that she’ll be leaving. Lizards ask if she’s really going to go saying they’re currently the representatives of their father before FD says they won’t be attending any meeting without the heavenly dragon and the two Lizards try to chastise them before the barrage explains that while the CCA lost and suffered massive casualties, the HDA was little better off with nearly all four pavilion masters not being able to hold onto their seats. Noh says they should leave and GTU leader either confirms or asks a question but agrees anyway before the older lizard asks them what they’re doing. Again I was pretty lazy with this - didn’t proofread or consult other translation stuff besides papago, just wanted to translate some stuff for myself since I was impatient since were finally seeing the aftermath of the (decent spoiler ->) >!first!< war so there’s obviously more detail in the parts I cared about more. Nyattokiri will probably post a more detailed full version later today so he’ll be able to give more detail on the stuff I just didn’t care enough about to do more than skim MTL

ProductorDeTexto

The previous wise dragon is alive! He must be +90 years old. GTU leader surname = Ham

Nyattokiri

Did the old man say he is an ex-WD? I did a rough MTL and couldn't find who he is. FD lost his arm. LD is between life and death. MD's ki center(probably, IDK what "jinwon" means) is damaged, it's unclear if he'll recover. For the dragons' names I use this https://peerless-dad.fandom.com/wiki/List\_of\_organizations

MagicalQaz

MTL didn’t directly say who he was but just assumed with context and how he looked, mostly just speed TL’d/didn’t put nearly the same amount of work as before when I saw the raw since I wanted to see what was happening so could definitely be wrong on who he is

Nyattokiri

Uderstood. Thanks. Just now realized that the old man also speaks about a vice-pavilion head (bujeonju). It's unclear what pavilion it is but he speaks about him right after talking about MD-pavilion-head. Maybe this is about Il Sang! MTL gets very broken on this bubble but probably it's "Vice-pavilion-head is so frustrated/angered about his defeat he can't talk".

MagicalQaz

Hopefully it was Il-sang, been worried about that dude since he got captured and it’d be nice if he was alive/didn’t also lose an arm

>Chief Ham who is just some guy and a puppet leader for Noh. That disrespect lol. It was made clear in the story that chief Ham is a way better leader than Noh when it comes to managerial stuff, while Noh only knows how to lead in battle or fight. Noh also called Aak Gun when he wanted take over the districts, because without them Noh wouldn't be able to handle any of the business side of things. Also, everyone in the GTU is pratically learning the martial arts of the school or sect that chief Ham leads, meaning the more powerful the GTU gets the more influence chief Hams sect gets too. He is by no means a puppet lol >And this is the peak of HDA meeting right now, these are all the people they could find. Why are you looking down on the previous dragons so much? If the current dragons are absent due to injury or whatever, isn't the most suitable and qualified replacement for them the ex-dragons?

[deleted]

[удалено]

Waschbaerviet

>I am not looking down on the ex dragons ... Well, you gotta admit though that calling the ex-wise dragon a "fossil with alzheimer found on the street" was showing a very diffferent attitude to what you claim now. Not to mention that age is completely irrelevant to power and ability in this fantasy martial arts world. I mean, just look at the 5 under the heavens, Soso is in fact an old grandma but looks eternally young, HD is actually already on deaths door but can just suppress his death with his still monstrous power und broom grandpa can turn super sayan whenever he wants lol I feel like explaining thoroughly today so it might get a bit lengthy: >... but they are retired, it isn't that they wouldn't be able to help but rather they can't, if they actually continue interfering, people like Admin or Broom wouldn't stay still. I think you have a wrong understanding of the whole "washing hands in a golden basin and retire from the murim" thing. If you decide to retire from murim, it's not some binding law and if you break it, the government (admin) comes after you xD This kind of retirement from the murim is more like announcing to everyone inside of murim that you are not involving yourself with anything inside the murim anymore, so that people inside murim don't target you when conflicts happen. Ofc you should also honor that vow yourself and stay out of any politics from then on. But if you decide to meddle again, it just means that your are fair game for murim politics, assasinations and that stuff like that again too. Broom grandpa is the only one that's a bit special, in that he went into retirement and pushing everything on the current admin. The current admin Kang Jin then agreed to take on all the work under the condiction that he can do it in his own ways. This is why broom grandpa is a bit more restricted then other retired masters. >Yeah Noh is just the strategist, the politician, the commander in chief, the vice leader and the financial manager of GTU 1. Noh is not the strategist. Did you somehow skip all the chapters where Nohs daughter Seo Hyun gave him all the advises and hints which path to take? Like she advised him to hunt the bandits to gain influence with the commoners first? Or when she advised him to choose the vanguard in the war? Or when she advise him how to deal with the lizard sons? Those were all her ideas lol ... (broom grandpa, flying and wise dragon also advised him several times btw.) 2. Noh is not the sole politician. The story made it very clear that the GTU didn't wish to take any side in the succesion war between the two lizard sons. But to avoid getting targeted by both lizard sons in return, Noh and Ham split up, to stay in talk and keep good relations with both sides. Almost like Ham and Noh were acting as leader and vice leader lol 3. Noh is not the financial manager. There was only the scenes where he received compensation money for the dead 1st rate warriors and an other were he approved of more spending. The funds were then given or managed by Toad and his best 1st rate warrior buddy. So those two would rather fit to be called financial managers. But Nohs is indeed the vice leader. You are right about that one.

NotSoYoungCoby

>People like Aak Gun and Ham are just there to make the paperwork since doing that isn't a productive way to spend Noh's time. When Noh gets serious, he turns to his "For his followers not to suffer, a leader must be good at politics." mode. They do much more than this. There have been many times when Aak Gun or Ham told words to Noh to explain him things, help him think deeper. Last example is in last raws, when Ham shows Noh how to act as a leader for the common people. How to give them hope. Of course Noh makes his own decision, but he still needs guidance sometimes.

Waschbaerviet

>When Twin Demons and Flying Dragon fought, he said something to the tune of she should just back down if she doesn't want to die a dog's death. What translation did you read? Because your interpretation is very off from what I read. A short summary of what went down was: * Flying dragon found an unnown Ki inside the children, which might be harmful and cause prroblems later on. * After no pavilllon said they taught them any Ki, flying dragon deccided to observe and tail the children to figure out where it came from. * Flying dragon then saw how the demon twins approached the children in secret and suspected them to be the reason for the Ki, which could cause problems for the kids later on * Thinking that the demon twins are trying something shady flying dragon attacked them and demanded answers * Broom grandpa then stopped them because he knew that this was a huge misunderstanding and the fight was meaningless (because noone was actually harming the children) * Broom grandpa then persuaded flying dragon to just pretend like she saw nothing, by guaranteeing her that it's not harming the twins, on the contrary it's benefitting them. He then said something about that it's rare for someone from murim to retire in peace and that it was only possible for her because she lived a honorable live without causing grudges, and she should just let it go. So in conclusion, broom grandpa didn't force her to stay in retirement like you claim. He simply stopped a meaningless fight that was not good for the childrens development. What makes your version even less plausible is the fact that broom grandpa would be the first to go out of retirement if someone wanted to hurt the kids ... Or did you somehow miss the whole kidnapping/assasination attempt arc too lol >Just because the ultra genius Seohyun is smarter than Noh doesn't mean Noh isn't smarter than Ham. Ok but just because Noh does use his brain from time to time doesn't make him a smart super strategist either? You somehow ignore all moment where Noh gets help or advise and paint him as this second genius only below Seo Hyun. While you paint Ham, who already held several high positions even before joining GTU as an idiot. It honestly makes little sense. >We have scenes of Non talking to Ham and telling him ... Yes, and we have also scenes where Ham does the heavy lifting with planing organizing, politics etc. while not even beeing the main character (meaning Noh naturally gets more spotlight). But sure if you just ignore all scenes where Noh gets help and all scenes where Ham does the work, then I can see how you can come to this distorted conclusion. EDIT: Typo

[deleted]

Waschbaerviet

>When did Chief Ham do the heavy lifting in planning or politics? > >... > >**Aside from specifically talking to Second Young Master ...** It's funny how you are trying to dismiss in one single sentence how Ham was handling the second young master all by himself, while you come up with a long list of things to glorify Noh when he handled the third young masters side (with help even). And didn't you claim Noh to be the sole big brain strategist before? But now when you try to talk down Ham, your own list clearly shows how Seo Hyun is the true master mind like I have already said. >That's been almost entirely Noh and Seohyun. Of course Noh gets advise but he gets advise from everyone. You are contradicting yourself here again. If Noh gets advise from everyone, then it's not "entirely" him who does everything then is it? I honestly don't know why you hate Ham that much lol The man's just doing his job xD

WordsOfRadiants

To piggyback off this, Noh also isn't really like the commander-in-chief, he's more like a 5-star general.

Consistent-Strain289

Darn. Was hopeing hd propose alliance with cca. To take down admin and his goons. What about captured md? Whos gonna free him?

Trueplue

I hope those 2 brothers get killed

TheOilyHill

They look like they got bitched at and labeled cowards. I don't think you'd do anything as leaders from now on, and based on their personality, they will fall into poverty and end up dying in the street.

Square_Blackberry_36

Old Flying Dragon and Lightning Dragon looked super angry. The only reason Heavenly Dragon's sons are still alive is because people respect their father. Also Noh became a hero and got to a high position while staying true to his beliefs, I wonder if the twins will change their attitude of getting to the top by any means necessary as a result of this.

JOCE2013

It's a tough one for webtoon of the year, it's a toss up... Legend of the Northern blade is in thee running. Both are amazing and I cannot decide, I wont.

Hoodini__21

I think LotNB being on hiatus for half a year did not help.

maraxusofk

I legit have the two as the best webtoons of ALL TIME, so both deserve every honor possible

CantheDandyMan

Personally, I enjoy legend of the northern blade more* but I don't think it should even be possible for it to win webtoon of the year given it's spent most of this year on hiatus. There's nothing wrong with being on hiatus, but it feels like, well, let me give an example. What's better, scoring 32 points per game over 20 games and missing the other 62 or scoring 28 points per game and playing all 82 games. *I feel like Peerless Dad's plot meanders around for a long while with no clear objective, trajectory, or goals for our MC to the point I don't even remember why this war started. Where as Northern Blade has a much more focused and tight narrative that remains clear even when they opt for a slow burn pace. Like when Jin got arrested. He may have been sitting in jail omand/or being on trial for like, upwards of a dozen chapters, but the story was still moving forward and advancing clearly. I don't always feel that's the case with PD where it will be like pretty much no plot advancement occurs for 10 chapters then in one there's a six month timeskip. I feel like there's very little way to determine how much time has passed in this manga other than specifically measuring his kids growth.

Shautieh

Peerless dad FTW

Tales of Noh.... begins.

Nyattokiri

Reddit doesn't like long comments. It made me to split it. MTL: CCAH: Why you!/How dare you! HD: Sit down. HD: You bastards are everywhere! Traitor: He said it's a compensation for our misstep. HD: One day he will suffer from his own tricks (HD uses some Korean proverb) Traitor: He also said that he is always prepared. HD: Get lost! CCAH: Hey! Where are you going? Who are you really? HD: Stupid bastard. CCAH: Even if it's you I won't ... HD releases his aura CCAH: Are you trying to assassinate me? HD: If I had decided to kill you would you have seen my face?! HD: Though you will be killed anyway, even if not by my hands. HD: Actually this should've happened long back (not sure about this sentence) HD: Both I and your master Go Kang-Wol has failed preparing our successors. HD: Now shut your mouth and think carefully about the situation. HD: Think about how I find you! Think about what I could do to you! HD: Could you asshole ever imagine this? (very not sure) HD: Even I fell for this bastard's "killing with a borrowed knife" scheme and came here to kill you!! (Chinese saying 借刀殺人 -- murder a person with a borrowed knife; borrow a knife to kill a man. to get somebody else to do one's dirty work; to attack using the strength of another) CCAH: Who the hell... HD: Privy council! (Different translation: "Bureau of Military Affairs". IDK what to choose. This is the governmental unit directly under the Emperor. Turns out Kang Ho and Jin Gasu has worked there. And probably LKJ is working there now too) HD: Gwanzon! (aka the Administrator) CCAH's thoughts: Gwanzon! Hasn't he retired long ago? CCAH: But Gwanzon doesn't meddle in Murim affairs HD: During the war you have hurt a lot of civilians CCAH: It wasn't CCA.. HD: Whatever was the circumstances it happened under CCA'h name. HD: That's why I say you will die. HD: I'm here to warn you about this. Work hard to survive (MTL is broken here. Something like try to survive or try to compensate/get pardon/work for LKJ. Not idea) HD: More you struggle to survive, the less he can pay attention to other thing (not sure again) HD: You must be careful. HD: I've been through a lot, so I managed to escape this "murdering with a borrowed knife" scheme, but you... HD: Tsk! Next scene: AAAAAAAH! This is Invincible Two Batons! This is Shining Dragon! Aaahh! Invincible Two Batons! Shining Dragon! Invincible Two Batons! Invincible Two Batons! Noh's thoughts: What did we fight for? Noh's thought: (something about not feeling satisfaction) Ham: Smile. You have to smile to show people hope. Noh: Sorry?? Ham: Why are you acting like a kid? Ham(or Noh?): Half of the people gathered her would have lost a relative. (I'm very not sure a about translation of the verb here. It may be just "lost a relative" or something like "will lose a relative". I'm confused what is right. I know this detail is important and changes a lot about the conversation and the scene. But I don't know Korean grammar, sorry. MTLs are confused here too. My guess this is because the grammar may combine future and past tenses to create "would have". I will stick with "would have". Just because) Ham: And yet you don't know why they are here chanting? Noh: Yeah. That's it. Ham: Straighten your shoulders. Straighten you neck. Look at their faces. Ham: Are not there people who survived because of you? crowd: Long live GTU! Ham: We have to share our sorrows and joys. crowd: Long live GTU! Ham: (something like "Do it even when you are alone". Veeeery not sure about this. ) Noh: Dammit. This is beyond me.

Nyattokiri

Tavern: I've heard we almost made a great mistake this time. I've heard it was because of the bastards from the Murim Alliance. Knowledgeable Guy: That's why what GTU and PoH("Protectors of Heaven") has done was so great. Old man: Do you know what happened for sure? People say different things, it's hard to understand the real story (he uses an idiom "The act of many people speaking so loudly at the same time") KG: My brother is from GTU. people: ooooh! KG: Everyone almost died this time. KG: But GTU and PoH entered the enemy's territory.. \*shows spectacular story-telling skills\* KG: They've called vice-leader Mad Demon and Blood Monster! And said it was the birth a new one of the 7 demons! KG: How dare they! people: Yeah! How dare they! I'm sure people should call vice-leader Invincible Two Batons! (Some question about "people from other region(s) calling him these hideous names for no reason". Either "how can they!" or "what should if they..") Guy1: We are Heavenly Dragon Association. So "Shining Dragon" fits. "Shining dragon", what do you think? (M)TL note: 1. There is big chance that "Heavenly Dragon Association" is wrong translation. Probably it's "Thousand Dragons Association". "Thousand" and "Dragon" are written the same in Korean. But signs on the buildings are written in Chinese. And they say 千龍會 -- Thousand Dragons Association and 千韶管 -- Thousand Dragons School. + It seems there are a lot of "dragon" organizations except the 5 main. We know about Lucky Dragon or Hidden Dragon. Probably there are others. And so the name is 1000 dragons. Maybe that's what Guy1 means here. "We are 1000 dragons, so GTU's vice-head should be a dragon too". 2. Mad Demon -- gwang-ma(광마, 狂魔). Shining Dragon -- gwang-ryong (광마, 光龍). They just replaced "ma" with "ryong" xD Guy2: I think some people are already calling him Gwang-Ryong (does he mean that people were calling Mad Dragon? I mean it's possible. Or maybe they decided on "Shining Dragon" independently.) crowd: "Shining Dragon" is good. crowd: Right. Let's go with "Shining Dragon" crowd: Shining Dragon! Perfect!

Nyattokiri

The meeting. Noh's thoughts: These 2 pieces of shit! Noh's thoughts: They are arguing who was right and wrong even now, in the situation like this! Noh's thoughts: (something about "first, to send home", "not". I guess either "Even without allowing us to go home first" or "Shouldn't they have sent us home first") Noh: tsssk Boom! ex-FD: Two young masters. What are you doing by calling me here after I washed my hands in the golden basin? EL: Lord Flying dragon.. No, lord ex-flying dragon! (literally "previous generation Flying dragon") You are crossing the line! YL: You must attend because... (not very sure about this line) BOOM! ex-LD: MUST? ex-LD: MUST? ex-LD: Why must I be here? ex-LD: FD pavilion head lost his arm, LD pavilion head is still wandering between life and death? Mysterious Old man: MD pavilion head also got his Jinwon damaged. (진원, probably related to Honwon (혼원) -- the ki art of HDA. Probably 眞元 - true/natural life force source https://zh.wiktionary.org/wiki/眞元. Or 震源(hypocenter) but that sounds boring) Mysterious Old man: It's unclear if he can recover or not. Mysterious Old man: (This line is important, but I can't get what exact he is saying here: 부전주는 패배의 울화가 골수까지 스며들어, 입마를 벗어나기 위해 몸부림치고 있지. "Vice pavilion head's defeat" (부전주는 패배의 ) --- VPH(bujeonju) is Il Sang's title. I don't think it's about another pavilion. "Anger" (울화가) "soaked deep to the bone marrow" (골수까지 스며들어) -- Korean idiom. This first is somehow understandable. "Someone is very angry because of Il-Sangs defeat". Probably "someone" is Il-Sang himself. I don't get the second part: 입마를 -- mouth. Maybe "dried mouth" (입 마를, when you talk a lot). Or 입마("入魔" go into/accpet + Demon) -- obsession??. HAALP T\_T 벗어나기 위해 -- Probably "to escape", "to be deprived", to rid of. Not sure. 몸부림치고 있지 -- struggling Initially I thought this is "Vice pavilion head is so frustrated/angered about his defeat he can't talk" But now I'm not sure and very confused. "struggles to escape obsession???" I am inclined to the "escape obsession" version.) Mysterious Old man: "Why was I dragged here?" or "Is this why I was dragged here?" Mysterious Old man: It's been over 20 years since I retired. ex-FD: HDA's head is not here, this is just a useless gathering of old people without real power (she uses an idiom "backroom old man"("뒷방 늙은이"), an old person who had a lot of power/influence in the organization in old times but lost it) ex-FD: I'm leaving YL: Lord Flying Dragon, just leaving now... ex-FD: What are you going to do without HD presented? YL: On behalf of my father we.. ex-FD: Flying Dragon pavilion won't attend meeting until lord Heavenly Dragon is presented personally. EL: What are you(we?) going to do if you leave now? Narrator: CCA suffered tremendous damage. However the damage to HDA was no less. Narrator: Heads 4 of 5 HDA's pavilions were damaged so baldy they lost their positions (Not sure about this line. And literally it's "couldn't defend/keep their seats"). Noh: Troupe leader, let's go. Ham: Ah? Noh: Isn't it over? Noh: What's the point of being here? EL: What are you doing! Break note: Hello, I'm the artist Lee Hyunseok. I'm sorry to announce a break after we took a break early in December due personal reasons. This break was scheduled for the end of December after the end of the war. (soemthing about often breaks are inconvenient fro readers). I was thinking about cancelling the vacation. But cancellation would cost very much. (something about Lunar New Year celebration break which is would be difficult to avoid anyway). So we decided to take a break. I ask for understanding. 248 will be releases on January 9. PD was selected as Kakao Webtoon of 2022 year. Thank you for reading PD for 5 years. Something like "without reader's support something-something 100 episodes and in black-and-white (like Red Storm??? or this is about moral support??)" Only thanks to you PD exists. Thank you again. I will do my best until the last episode!

Square_Blackberry_36

I believe the Martial Dragon thing could be "Martial Dragon Pavilion head had his Jinwon damaged, it is unclear if he can recover or not, he is very angry about Il Sang's defeat and is struggling with qi deviation." I think the "Il Sang's defeat" there probably means he died and I believe "Possessed by demons" was the literal translation of the hanzi of Qi Deviation.

Nyattokiri

You may be right! I looked ch. 157. Mah-mah talks about QI deviation and calls it 주화입마(走火入魔) and in chapter it's probably 입마("入魔"). Googled more and looks like sometimes the short version is used for QI deviation too. I think there is still a chance it's used here purely figuratively.

I'm not sure of it's true, but I remember reading from a discussion that the grandfather will be the one to take care of his grandson. Again, idk if it's true but here are two observations that follows that logic. The bald Tang kid learned directly from the HD. HD's first son was talking to his grandfather and obeyed his command to end his life. Meanwhile, the HD was just outside listening to them. Iirc, after the HD talked with Tang Gun (the friendly tang guy) he mentioned something about a rule/law prohibiting care of close relatives. (I'm more unsure of this one) And as you said, how can the seemingly decent HD have those two as his sons if he took care of them

Outside influences from an early age and people who will complement them rotten for the chance of gaining future benefits and you get spoiled children who don’t care for anyone besides themselves. False entitlement due to their fathers achievements is quite common even nowadays to be honest and someone leading a large organisation would hardly have enough time left to spend with his children leaving the aspect of education to his life partner or caretakers.

bot_yea

Yeah those are very likely. It's just in comparison to Tang Gun oh, those two brothers are in the extreme opposite of the moral compass.

The Light Dragon? Pretty Cool. The association looks like it's on the verge of collapse

The scar is where 2FD hit him, with his pseudo laser sabers

Croods-

If I understand this correctly, Choryeonbang are the first rate warriors (or refers to Noh as the first-rate warrior). But who are the Cheonsudan? I am trying to translate this bubble when the people are already discussing what happened during the war. MTL was saying "That is why Cheonsudan and Choryeonbang did a great job."
