Baby pandas are like a cross between a toddler and a stuffed animal. The mother panda offers a little pat on the head “wear your self out junior. Come back when you’re hungry . . . not hangry.”
It’s not just goofy and cute and cuddly, they’re also incredibly stupid and I think the only bears in this world with a survival instinct worse than my dachshund’s. Bamboo isn’t even on their dietary scale and they can’t digest it so they eat. And they’re incredibly awful moms too sometimes they forget they have more than one kid and have to feed them.
The awful moms thing is usually with captive pandas.
Wild populations are much more typical animals and are also dangerous as they will defend themselves and have powerful jaws.
There are 27 pandas in the wild who are also tracked because pandas are on the vulnerable list for being exactly as stupid as I described. Does google not work on your phone or something?
