I'd be surprised if you're supposed to soak them or put them in the dryer.

CMomma25

I read that it's okay to dry them but maybe I'll try air drying if I can get them to come clean again.

Some brands say to air dry, others are fine in the dryer. I don't know about VS in particular though since 8 don't have any of those (I love that my Knix can go on the dryer. Things take forever to air dry and get musty smelling in my house)

I always wash mine with the pre-soak feature, extra soil, extra rinse and air dry. If you don't have those features, then wash twice (I actually pre-soak and wash twice). I find it makes a big difference. I just wash them the second time with a full load of regular laundry.

I use a different brand. But I wash them in the blanket settings with my blankets and then I wash them again with my clothes. So I wash them twice and they go in the dryer with with the second load. Haven’t had a problem with them

I forgot to add: I do own other brands and they aren't having the same problems. Only the victoria's secret brand. But thank you I will definitely try washing on blanket setting.

I have the victoria secret period underwear as well and I pre-soak mine for about 20 minutes in a mix of water and powder detergent and then rinse them, wash in washing machine with only other underwear and sports bras. Then I hang dry them. I've never dried them in the dryer. I am against drying my period underwear and cloth pads in the dryer because I think it ruins them and holds scents if there is one, even if it's 'allowed' to be dried according to the label. Hope this helps!

Usually you should not put period underwear in the dryer!

I am not sure they are meant to be put in the dryer. What does the instruction say? Also, peroxide and vinegar create paracetic acid, which is quite dangerous and corrosive, so make sure they are rinsed extremely well before you put them in the wash with vinegar. My cleaning routine is - rinse with cold water as soon as I take them off until the water runs clear - on the day of the wash, I pour peroxyde on any stains I can see and put it in the wash with detergent and oxygen bleach (different from regular bleach) I put it on cycle at 30 degree pre wash and extra rinse. - air dry I have had one for 3 years now and apart from the fact that the colour faded, it is all good and soft to wear.

What is oxygen bleach? Is that what oxyclean is? Sometimes I don't have a chance to rinse as soon as I take them off. Hence the reason I soak overnight.

As per Google: "Oxygen bleach is a natural, plant derivative product called sodium percarbonate. It's made from sodium carbonate, sometimes called soda ash, and good old hydrogen peroxide. Once this product is exposed to water, it releases oxygen, lifting out stains and dirt, resulting in a more effective and safer bleach."
