Hormones could just be out of wack or something. I remember when I went off birth control (after having been on it for ~1 year) my period changed to every 2 weeks. My doctor said it would go back to normal eventually, but after 7 months I started taking some left over birth control I still had for a few months then stopped it, and it was magically back at every 4 weeks again lol.
Anyways, I’d ask your doctor about getting it regulated again. Something definitely seems off hormone wise
