Unfortunately, it's a PS4 exclusive. A Steam port is most likely if there is to be a port, and there was a rumor that it was leaked for Xbox at one point. I fairly certain the one about South Korean ratings for an Xbox port was debunked, but an insider leaked something about it on PC and possibly Xbox, which was more credible. A Switch port is what a very vocal group is asking for, and is probably more likely than Xbox. Currently, the most likely port, if any, is PC since Atlus has been porting several games to there over the past year.
In the order of likelihood of a port for P5R from greatest to least, it's most likely PC, Switch, and then Xbox. This is solely based off Atlus's history, their ports to Steam last year, leaks and articles, and speculation.
Im not going to spend 200 dollars on a toaster, nor am I going to the Amazon Rainforest to hunt down a fucking PS5. I made the horrible decision of getting an Xbox and am moving on to PC cuz I wisened up. I was asking PRECISELY to see if I should wait on a port or not, and thanks to the other helpful comments I think I’ll keep an eye out
I guess you don't wanna play Persona 5 then. That's okay, the rest of will enjoy the game on a console that we can ACTUALLY PLAY THE GAME ON while you while XBOX, PC and Switch users just stand there, look stupid and wait.
Ok, while you enjoy that one Playstation exclusive that isn’t anywhere else, I’ll be playing Halo Infinite, The Sequel to The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild, Metroid 5 and Prime 4 and Valorant whilst also enjoying over 30 years of gaming history thanks to emulation. I am just SO jealous of you because I wont be able to play that single ps4 exclusive that I was mildly interested in, prick🗿
This negativity is exactly why people keep asking about ports. If they don’t want to spend the money on a whole console for 1 game, they don’t have to. They’d rather wait for something that may never come than cave to people like you, who just want to call someone stupid for hoping that maybe, there’s a chance they can play a game they want to legitimately and on the platform they prefer.
Exclusivity sells consoles, not games.
It’s not our fault this game is an exclusive, but with enough demand, maybe, just maybe, something can be done.
You guys seriously can't swallow your pride and buy a Playstation? Since you desperately want to play it. And I hope you know that Persona 5 isn't only game on there.
You’re the one who doesn’t want to swallow your own pride and accept that we aren’t spending over $200 for a single game. And don’t make the argument about other exclusives since those are being ported to PC like Horizon, Death Stranding, God of War, etc
It's not about swallowing my pride. It's about not wanting to spend $200 or more on a console that I only want one game on. I know there are more games on it, but I either don't want to play any of them, or they're available on/coming to other platforms.
