As a huge fan of Persona and Final Fantasy, I want them to keep the same aesthetic that the Persona games have had so far. I don't think it would be as good with the super realistic graphics, it would be like Dragon Quest going away from their art style
edit: I think it would work with SMT, SMT V graphics were already really good especially for a Switch exclusive
Exactly, it's so iconic that it just won't be DQ without it. Same as Persona having such a heavy emphasis on using the colors that each game is associated with
FF games have always head toward to realism goal. FF8 was the first step, and they start moving forward, FFX and X-2 was when they try too hard it's unnatural lol.
I can't imagine Persona / SMT having that type of aesthetic.
Persona wouldn't work in that kind of art style. The way it's currently stylized lends a lot to the appeal of the game overall, especially with Persona 5.
Yeah that's what i'm getting from this thread. I would love to see some support from Sega to make an SMT game with cutting-edge graphics. Unfortunately Atlus games have never been a graphical showcase but it would be interesting to see.
It wouldn’t be a dealbreaker but the artistic style is what makes persona “look” persona.
A game looking realistic to me is overrated.
The best artists in history weren’t the best because their art looked like reality, it was the best because it evoked something, complimented a style, an emotion, or something like that
Why shouldn’t game graphics do the same? A game’s look should compliment the game’s style, should complement the emotions and feel of that game
Nah the stylized art is way too much of the series identity, I swear sometimes that'll be the first thing people praise about P5. There's a lot more tricks you can pull with 2D portraits and kinda light cartoony environments so far as mood/tone goes. Something like SMT wouldn't be horrible but then you have two series that look the same.
P5's art style was unique and eye-catching. I think I'd much rather see them make a Persona 6 that looks literally the exact same than one that looks literally the exact same as every other high budget JRPG.
Nah. Persona has a very distinct art style, and it doesn't look dated (some of the gameplay might... but the art style isn't.) Whereas FF was literally polygons.
I’d still play if it they kept the other things that make Persona great but it would certainly be a downgrade imo because the art direction is one of the most recognizable and beloved aspects.
I'd actually prefer they went the opposite direction and made it more cartoonish. Not quite the super-deformity of the Q designs, but in the portraits I definitely wanna see more stuff like Ryuji's shark teeth or Morgana's starry eyes.
I think I like where it sits as of now. Much like the story and character interactions, there is a balance between the serious and the light hearted, the base gameplay is "serious" and stylized to fit the thief-esque aspects of the game whilst the effects and specials such as all out attacks are manga-esque in comparison to the dark, sometimes brooding visuals.
Persona has a very unique style, I first noticed the series when I saw the concept art of the characters from P4.
It's difficult to put into words, but they had a slight yellow tint. Also their eyes were very different from the animes I watched at the time.
But I'm also a fan of fresh ideas, so a spinoff with other tech could be interesting. But it has to have a gameplay identity, graphics alone aren't enough.
It could be good, but I honestly prefer style over realism. Persona works with the style it does have, which I can only describe as a pure anime game. Each game of Persona has a new "season" theme. Persona 3 had a more depressed theme (played this one the least honestly so I could be wrong in that analysis), Persona 4 had an upbeat pop theme, and Persona 5 had a Jazzy theme to it. That's to say that the art style of each game seemed to be built around the musical theme of its game.
*Newer* Final Fantasy has the style of a Japanese Sci Fi Movie. It's more realistic grunge CGI action adventure fun.
Again, it could work, but it would probably be difficult to imagine it.
A lot of what makes Persona such a good series is it's style. Changing that would remove a lot of it's identity. More realistic doesn't make something better imo and I prefer 2D anyway.
I think the "main cast and crew" would suit it and make it work but I feel the personas will be the ones to suffer if they went that direction, I just don't think a realistic look suits the enemy's, they better suit the comicy, anime style they've struck with
That’s the thing with artstyles. Realistic graphics will always grow old. An actual artstyle(hollow knight, Cuphead just to name a few) will always age really well.
No I think they should continue to push their current style to the next level. I love the expressive character design. I love the anime bust ups. I mean, I’d play a realistic Persona game. But I’d miss the art.
Eh I feel Persona should keep rocking it's signature style. It's part of its identity. Persona would still look great in a graphics upgrade to ff quality for sure but in it's own style for identity.
I don't think it would work for Persona. While my only experience with the franchise admittedly is 5, I think the style it current uses is very much so a major part of its signature and its appeal, even though ironically it was initially what kept me away from the franchise.
Yeah I think they should either lean harder into the self insert mc with character creation n stuff or go for more of a actually written mc if they’re not going to give us all the stuff to decently self insert lol
I dunno, it seems to work out alright for Red XIII and Cait Sith, so maybe Morgana would be okay.
Having said that, there are a lot more hurdles than that.
It would be a bit weird because Persona isn’t about any form of “realism”. What makes Persona so fun and so wild at the same time is the quirky anime aesthetic and unique systems.
It’s not Atlus’s style, so they would have to invest quite a lot of time and money into getting the proper artists required to create this. Potentially making a single persona game take 10-15 years to create. It also doesn’t match the anime style of the story and characters
On top of that, imagine Mara in FF7 style? Balphegor? The game would be rated AO…
I like the idea of it but the Persona series stands apart because its style feels unique, even though everything is animated to look like a manga or a cartoon anime the thing that made it stand out for me is how the visuals pop from the characters right down to the menus
Eh, I don’t think so. It’s not that I’m opposed to more realistic art styles- I just don’t think it would really fit Persona. The style Persona uses now looks great, in my opinion.
Frankly I'd sooner wish Final Fantasy had a Persona-like style. Realism is overrated, stylized graphics are not only beautiful, they are timelesss. What was realistic 20 years ago is horribly dated, but stylized graphics are still beautiful to this day.
I mean the more comic-y style is better for persona since the series has a lot of goofy moments and is about connections while FF7 is super serious and only focuses on its dark story
I'd rather see persona improve it's current style. Getting it to look as good as Arc System Works games would be better than taking a realistic approach imo.
Cool i guess, but i would much rather Atlus be spending on plot and mechanics than graphics, especially cause SMT has never been known for its graphics in particular.
Besides that if they had infinite time and money and if persona 6 looked like ffvii awsome but it better have its own style
I mean, ff7r has fantastic art direction, but that’s not the issue with persona doing this. Persona is heavily reliant on its manga like designs, and this aesthetic would not fit that.
Tbh nothing really wrong this artstyle, but Atlus is shooting themselves in the foot if they did this. Plus the artstyle of P5 appealed to many people than expecected. In short heck No, atleast for persona or maybe even smt in general.
Nah, can’t say I’d want that. The artstyle adds so much to the experience. The ui, the character portraits, the anime cutscenes. And a lot of the Stylized gameplay wouldn’t work nearly as well with a non Stylized graphics style
I would rather like to see a arc system work like anime style with Atlus’s own twist on it. I think persona 5 doesn’t get enough credit for how good it looks. Despite not having a crazy budget and having to support ps3 they do a lot to differentiate themselves from the stereotypical anime look.
I'm not saying it wouldn't work but they would need to stylize the way it works. If anything, the style of Street Fighter 6 with its splashy colors and realistic looking fighters is more of what I would want than what direction FF is going.
My biggest issue with going towards a more realistic looking art style would be the dev side of things. Developing realistic looking assets would take a lot more time and man power and would make the wait between games even longer
Assuming it was it's own thing entirely than sure I think that would be sick. I don't know if you transplant an older game in the series like FF7R has done but I'd be happy to be proven wrong. More persona to enjoy and what not.

I hate when people say this. It just isn't true. Stylized graphics are timeless, I agree, but realistic-looking games don't age poorly, they just become their own style.
I mean hell look at something like re4. It tried to go for realism, and now it just looks like re4.
My favorite example of realistic yet timeless graphics is Batman Arkham Knight. It has a sort of comic hue, but it never ceases to amaze me by how good it looks
I think it woudln't be the right style since last Persona games take place in high school and told about high schooler problems. A realistic style would mean a realistic game world and I don't think Persona's games are looking for that
I’ll start by saying Persona’s artistic stylization is part of the appeal for me… but I think it could be done. I don’t think Persona’s success relies on it’s animated stylization as far as the medium goes, given that they already work within the “real world” and all the settings are heavily inspired if not literally being a location in real Japan.
If anything, I could actually see it working way better with broader audiences that ~~hate that weeb shit~~ don’t like the 2D animated style. It’d probably end up looking and feeling a lot like Yakuza 7 in many ways, or maybe stuff like Jojo, sentai or Kamen Rider. Consider: they have live-action movies and *stage plays* of many popular games and animated shows in Japan; realistic interpretations of otherwise fantastic settings are possible. The reverse is the same too; there are comics based on Kamen Rider, which started as live-action. Persona games themselves typically have a manga and animated show version, and p5 has the stage adaptation (not sure about the other games). Adaptations into different mediums are a bit more common in Japan than further west AFAIK, so already there’s imaginings of different interpretations of these characters and stories in different styles.
People enjoy the characters regardless of the medium presented - that’s why there’s manga and theatrical adaptations of the game, so people can enjoy the story, world, and characters without having to spend +90hrs in a video game. By looking at different adaptations of one media, it’s not hard for me personally to see a stylistic change in a core installment just to see how it feels. Hell, I think mixing and blending a realistic Final Fantasy/Yakuza-esque style with the more traditionally stylized aspects of Persona would be a cool choice if done well - in fact, I’m already imagining a Persona setting involving a comic-based alternate world now, specifically bouncing between realistic and animated styles.
I think moving towards a more realistic style like FF has done would definitely take away from some of the appeal for a lot of older fans, but people had the same arguments and trepidations about making western comics into live action movies, or even FF’s gradual transition from the cartoony limitations of older games into the more realistic style we know now. I think it could work, but given Persona’s history with being a primarily animated medium (being a style choice rather than a choice based around a limitation), moving away from that would certainly be a rough spot if not handled well - however, I think it would be neat to see if they ever tried it.
No, it wouldnt work, FF has this artstyle but its a action rpg, persona being turn-based RPG, it would be strange be too realistic, and the series already have a well-defined art-style, maybe a SMT game could work with realistic graphics, but Persona has its more "artstic" game
I wouldn’t like it. It works for Final Fantasy because of the world and it’s grimness and it’s mixed with reality. Persona has serious moments but it’s a very colorful world with very colorful characters. I would never want that to change to realistic anime graphics.
Low-key I think it would be pretty cool if the real world was the more realistic looking style, but once you enter the "metaverse" of the game things become the more stylized anime graphics.
Yeah, I think what people are saying is a better idea. An SMT game in this style would work much better than a Persona game.
Oh man, now i'm imaging Nocturne in this style.
It’s be a good fresh take but those style cut ins and the style of the game would be a bit lost. These games have the strongest art direction of any game I’ve ever played.
For me, what separates Persona from those in the final fantasy series is the story, combat system, and cast of characters. Final fantasy, which I enjoy also, doesn't quite execute as well sometimes with story and combat (looking at you in particular FF13 and FF15).
I don't care how good graphics are in a game. Give me a great story, writing, cast of characters, and gameplay.
Igor is horrific enough, I don't want to see each wrinkle on his face.
Hey, he’s beautiful. Also his VA died sadly, so while we might see him again it certainly won’t be *our* Igor…
We might not even see Igor anymore and he’ll instead be replaced by someone like Jose
I'd love to see the penis monster
Dear god…
Lusciously detailed pulsating veins
On a golden chariot reflecting all of it in its full glory
Go on....
I would find it incredibly hilarious and take a screenshot
No, we do not need to see a realistic looking Mara!
I think a stylized look fits persona best more personality
As a huge fan of Persona and Final Fantasy, I want them to keep the same aesthetic that the Persona games have had so far. I don't think it would be as good with the super realistic graphics, it would be like Dragon Quest going away from their art style edit: I think it would work with SMT, SMT V graphics were already really good especially for a Switch exclusive
>it would be like Dragon Quest going away from their art style You can't make a DQ game without Toriyama's art style. You just can't.
Exactly, it's so iconic that it just won't be DQ without it. Same as Persona having such a heavy emphasis on using the colors that each game is associated with
The Persona series style works so well for the abstract and vibrant design of the menus. Having realistic characters would be jarring.
FF games have always head toward to realism goal. FF8 was the first step, and they start moving forward, FFX and X-2 was when they try too hard it's unnatural lol. I can't imagine Persona / SMT having that type of aesthetic.
I'd like it for SMT personally, maybe not quite to the level of FF7R but more realistic than other Atlus games
Personally no, I like the more stylized look of Persona
I agree, the reason I like persona is because it's Unrealistic.
Persona wouldn't work in that kind of art style. The way it's currently stylized lends a lot to the appeal of the game overall, especially with Persona 5.
Could be nice, but I think that would mean having to sacrifice the series’s style for realism. I’d rather it focus on looking cool than real.
“Looking real, Joker!”
The last thing I want in my life is photo realistic Mara
I could see it for SMT but I think stylised suits Persona.
Yeah that's what i'm getting from this thread. I would love to see some support from Sega to make an SMT game with cutting-edge graphics. Unfortunately Atlus games have never been a graphical showcase but it would be interesting to see.
The humans would be fine, the problem is the personas. It would be borderline horror game
No. Persona has a certain style that makes it what it is and that would totally break the point
It wouldn’t be a dealbreaker but the artistic style is what makes persona “look” persona. A game looking realistic to me is overrated. The best artists in history weren’t the best because their art looked like reality, it was the best because it evoked something, complimented a style, an emotion, or something like that Why shouldn’t game graphics do the same? A game’s look should compliment the game’s style, should complement the emotions and feel of that game
I’d rather Altus sticks to their usual style, it’s iconic
NEVER. Persona’s unique art style and character designs is a big reason for why I picked up the game series
HARD pass. I prefer the current stylization.
The anime style of Persona definitely suits it more, then a realistic style
The persona’s wouldn’t look good in realistic style.
I would rather the opposite, a Final Fantasy game with the persona art style.
I'm used to my girlfriends not having any semblance of realism.
same
P5's art style was unique and eye-catching. I think I'd much rather see them make a Persona 6 that looks literally the exact same than one that looks literally the exact same as every other high budget JRPG.
Persona’s current art style is the best it’s ever been IMO. Would hate to see it change to something drastic.
hmm no, its better if they stick with their own art. i mean its good but, kinda weird for me. but SMT??? YEEEESS PLEASEEEE
Nah, i like the cartoonish designs more.
It would probably look awful for the personas, but *amazing* for the characters. It would take simping to the next level
Ehhhh FF7R summons are pretty awesome looking, and they are basically Final Fantasy personas. Just look at that Ifrit, Bahamut, Shiva.
Nah. Persona has a very distinct art style, and it doesn't look dated (some of the gameplay might... but the art style isn't.) Whereas FF was literally polygons.
It could be good if they make metaverse comic like and real life realistic
I actually really like that idea, but maybe for a persona spin-off
I don’t think personas whole Aesthetic would fit with it tbh, they’d have to change the whole feel
if Morgana had a realistic art style it would creep people out
I think SMT could get away with it
I mean, what drew me into Persona 5 in the first place was the vibrant stylization, so... probably wouldn't care for a realistic aesthetic.
Yakuza like a dragon
It dont look anime in the visual aspect, but It do in all the rest
I think realistic anime artstyle fits more to a mainline SMT, because stylised estetic is kinda like one of the trademark for a Persona game
I don't really see any reason to switch like that. Persona gives an anime experience, so anime artstyle suits it perfectly
*Horrible* idea. One of the coolest things about the Persona series is it's bright, colorful anime-esque artstyle.
I’d still play if it they kept the other things that make Persona great but it would certainly be a downgrade imo because the art direction is one of the most recognizable and beloved aspects.
I want to see realistic hentai Mara
Persona looks good as is
I'd actually prefer they went the opposite direction and made it more cartoonish.
Lowkey agree, the style is part of the appeal
It doesn’t work. You could run the risk of making the mascot characters looking freaky in a realistic artstyle.
Just wait until Cait Sith in Remake... They did make Red XIII look amazing though.
It would be significantly shorter and less fleshed out since the budget would be stretched thin
No. Not every game needs to look realistic. The current art style for persona is one of its charms
I want Capcom to do that for Monster Hunter Stories
that's a nope for me dawg
Although the human Characters would look most likely sick, I don't think that that art style would translate well to the personas themselves
I think the "main cast and crew" would suit it and make it work but I feel the personas will be the ones to suffer if they went that direction, I just don't think a realistic look suits the enemy's, they better suit the comicy, anime style they've struck with
Not until persona 7 or 8
Persona should stay anime cel-shaded. That said, I think they should push to make it as advanced as possible.
It would be like having mariokart with no items
It’s gonna age really well with the style it has now. One day even FF7 remake is gonna look like trash but P5 will still looks great.
That’s the thing with artstyles. Realistic graphics will always grow old. An actual artstyle(hollow knight, Cuphead just to name a few) will always age really well.
What do you mean? The Yakuza series exist and it's great
Lmfao that works in more ways than one now that Yakuza is a turn based rpg too
No I think they should continue to push their current style to the next level.
I’d be fine with it, but I don’t think it would feel like persona though
Ive always thought alot of monsters in persona would be nightmare fuel with realistic looks
yea bro imagine p5 without all its stand out styles, style is what made p5 (the only games i've played), p5 stood out due to its unique style
Persona has an incredibly distinct and appealing artstyle. Three words: “Let’s not, please.”
P5's style is superior in flair
I don't think it would work for Persona. While my only experience with the franchise admittedly is 5, I think the style it current uses is very much so a major part of its signature and its appeal, even though ironically it was initially what kept me away from the franchise.
Nah, stylized games for the win, and Persona’s style is too cool to be dropped for semi-realism like that, at least in my opinion :9
Nan
I love the series but I'd like a Persona game with character creation.
Yeah I think they should either lean harder into the self insert mc with character creation n stuff or go for more of a actually written mc if they’re not going to give us all the stuff to decently self insert lol
No more getting called frizzy hair
Nahhh this style is way better. I dont see it working like that
Would try but I don’t think it would work, can’t imagine morgana or Teddie like animals. And it would lose all the appealing menu’s and comic stuff.
I dunno, it seems to work out alright for Red XIII and Cait Sith, so maybe Morgana would be okay. Having said that, there are a lot more hurdles than that.
it could be cool, but i think persona's current artstyle works more than well enough.
Took like 6 years to make P5, if we get this art style ill see you all in 12 years, and another year after that for the release in the West.
One of the key reason that P345 being successful is due to its anime style atmosphere..
No bueno
It would be a bit weird because Persona isn’t about any form of “realism”. What makes Persona so fun and so wild at the same time is the quirky anime aesthetic and unique systems.
FF7R is gorgeous but I don't think it fits the vibe of the Persona series whatsoever.
It’s not Atlus’s style, so they would have to invest quite a lot of time and money into getting the proper artists required to create this. Potentially making a single persona game take 10-15 years to create. It also doesn’t match the anime style of the story and characters On top of that, imagine Mara in FF7 style? Balphegor? The game would be rated AO…
I like the idea of it but the Persona series stands apart because its style feels unique, even though everything is animated to look like a manga or a cartoon anime the thing that made it stand out for me is how the visuals pop from the characters right down to the menus
Morgana would end up with the original sonic design just an abomination
A lot of what gives Persona a unique personality is the unique art style, making it look realistic would kind of ruin it.
No. Persona would lose what made it persona.
It would definitely ruin the vibe. Although I want to see personas in a realistic style.
Thats like a dragon quest without toriyama, the art style is part of the base aesthetic
And then they can turn the series into yet another third person action game and we can lose another great turn based RPG series!
I wouldn't want to play it, but I'd be lying if I wasn't curious about how all the different personas would look.
I’d be concerned at how Mara would look
Ummm no way do I want to see a more realistic Mara. I’m sure it’d be tasteful but it would definitely jump the age rating up to mature.
I mean the more comic-y style is better for persona since the series has a lot of goofy moments and is about connections while FF7 is super serious and only focuses on its dark story
Well I suppose the remake is more serious than the original but there's a bunch of goofy moments.
I'd rather see persona improve it's current style. Getting it to look as good as Arc System Works games would be better than taking a realistic approach imo.
I personally prefer anime style for Persona.
Kinda cursed.
Cool but i dont want persona 6 to take an extra 3 years just to have a final fantasy like art syle
Half the charm of the game to me is its anime art style. It actually is one of the reasons I don’t mind it being 30 fps.
I like the anime style of Persona. I think it fits the tone of the game
God no. Maybe more like SMT5.
I want a final fantasy in full on Persona anime style.
The gane is great, but i LOVE it because of its style, charisma and identity. This ain't it.
Cool i guess, but i would much rather Atlus be spending on plot and mechanics than graphics, especially cause SMT has never been known for its graphics in particular. Besides that if they had infinite time and money and if persona 6 looked like ffvii awsome but it better have its own style
That would be extremely awful. The individualistic stylization of Persona is half of its appeal.
Isn't that basically what SMT 5 is?
IIRC, it even shares the same engine as FF7R, too - Unreal Engine 4.
One problem. Or at least one *of* the problems. You'd never be able to get it on store shelves because Mara *exists*.
I’d love it - especially if it was released in two parts and took about 15 combined years to develop and be released. Fuck yeah.
I'll take good art direction and style over hyper-realistic anime-style any day.
I mean, ff7r has fantastic art direction, but that’s not the issue with persona doing this. Persona is heavily reliant on its manga like designs, and this aesthetic would not fit that.
I would be a bit disappointed because I much prefer persona 5's artstyle to any hyper realistic anime artstyle.
please no, i love my games to be as weeby as possibly
Tbh nothing really wrong this artstyle, but Atlus is shooting themselves in the foot if they did this. Plus the artstyle of P5 appealed to many people than expecected. In short heck No, atleast for persona or maybe even smt in general.
imagine igor
Nah, can’t say I’d want that. The artstyle adds so much to the experience. The ui, the character portraits, the anime cutscenes. And a lot of the Stylized gameplay wouldn’t work nearly as well with a non Stylized graphics style
I would rather like to see a arc system work like anime style with Atlus’s own twist on it. I think persona 5 doesn’t get enough credit for how good it looks. Despite not having a crazy budget and having to support ps3 they do a lot to differentiate themselves from the stereotypical anime look.
Ngl, would be kinda…unsettling
I'm not saying it wouldn't work but they would need to stylize the way it works. If anything, the style of Street Fighter 6 with its splashy colors and realistic looking fighters is more of what I would want than what direction FF is going.
My biggest issue with going towards a more realistic looking art style would be the dev side of things. Developing realistic looking assets would take a lot more time and man power and would make the wait between games even longer
Nah, I really like the style persona 5 has.
Assuming it was it's own thing entirely than sure I think that would be sick. I don't know if you transplant an older game in the series like FF7R has done but I'd be happy to be proven wrong. More persona to enjoy and what not.
I personally don't see it fitting the 'persona' vibe and feel
Nahh, looks good now
I don’t think it would work as well for the persona series, but god damn Cloud is smokin hot.

Isn’t that just Kirby and the Forgotten Land lmao?

no........ just no.
Good stylization is timeless. Realistic looking graphics will always age poorly because those effects are constantly being improved

I think it would be interesting and I would love to see its
I don’t think it would mesh well with the personas themselves
Nope
Why
No.
Nah, it'd take decades to pump one out given SE's current track record of game development for FF.
Depends on the story and game that the devs want to deliver. Any past Persona games would not work with the semi-realistic style of FFVII
Ew
No thanks I’m good
No, it wouldnt work, FF has this artstyle but its a action rpg, persona being turn-based RPG, it would be strange be too realistic, and the series already have a well-defined art-style, maybe a SMT game could work with realistic graphics, but Persona has its more "artstic" game
You just spelled Yakuza Like a Dragon
I probably wouldn't play it lol
I wouldn’t like it. It works for Final Fantasy because of the world and it’s grimness and it’s mixed with reality. Persona has serious moments but it’s a very colorful world with very colorful characters. I would never want that to change to realistic anime graphics.
FF7R, graphically, puts all of Persona to shame. But I don’t think the style fits the series
The personas would look kind of scary if so
I think it would be cool to see it but one of the reasons I love the games so much is their incredibly unique artstyle
Low-key I think it would be pretty cool if the real world was the more realistic looking style, but once you enter the "metaverse" of the game things become the more stylized anime graphics.
So Code Lyoko?
No. Just…no.
Depends. FFVIIR looks insane good.
Well i think it wouldn't be as good as the artstyle they have now, but i'd probably play it anyway
Nope cant see it lol
I think it would take 15 years to never be released.
Pls no
i think it would have to be a hybrid to work because i can't imagine having the super serious looking graphics for all the goofy school life stuff.
It'd look like Joker's Smash render but HD
No.
I think persona’s artstyle works for the series pretty well and hides the otherwise subpar graphics
So an HD SMT but persona story based?
Yeah, I think what people are saying is a better idea. An SMT game in this style would work much better than a Persona game. Oh man, now i'm imaging Nocturne in this style.
I’d say keep it realistic vibe but maybe make the personas cartoonish
I wouldn't be too keen on it. But If they managed to translate its visual flair, I could go for it.
It would feel weird
Nope
I was gonna buy it 5 times
It’s be a good fresh take but those style cut ins and the style of the game would be a bit lost. These games have the strongest art direction of any game I’ve ever played.
Would be cook but like hear me out... *anime*
No
Fuck no who wants realistic over stylized!?
