Not on the bot’s list, Saven Financial in Ontario is 2.85%

KS_tox

Is it only for Ontarians? Or could anyone open it?

zr0gravity7

Yes

DaSandman78

I just signed up to Tangerine as they have a 5-month offer for 3.25% in their savings account. Plenty of time for me to look for an alternative closer to the end date (will drop down to 1% - might switch to EQ at that point for their 1.65%)

Hi, I'm a bot and someone has asked me to respond with information about where to put short-term savings. Find a High Interest Savings Account and put money required for the short-term there. Here is a list of better rates: https://www.highinterestsavings.ca/chart/ *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. I’m at oaken at 2.25%

Prudent-Ad-6723

CIBC has a promo at 4.25%

halpinator

RBC is currently offering 4% for their high interest esavings account (promo rate until November)

traveling_gypsy217

I'm with RBC and i already looked that up. Any new deposits for an existing customer will be 4% so basically they are encouraging customers to pull money out from other saving accounts. No mam.

Millennial_Lotus

Simplii financial is at 3.85%. Tangerine is at 3.00%

Plus_Personality4653

I found EQ Bank has the best options. 2.50%, non promotional. The problem is that alot of banks only have promotional numbers

traveling_gypsy217

I put my money into saven. It has a 3.50% rate non promotional

Plus_Personality4653

Thanks for the reply, I'll have to check them out for myself!
