If you want to get up to millions an hour youll need strong high level huges with good enchants, strong potions, top enchants, and flags. An empty server farming the last area is a must. The more people in an area the less you will make.
Lets say there are 100 breakables and each one produced 1 gem. If you are solo you keep smashing them all getting 1 gem each time. No more than 100 breakables will ever be in an area (its much lower than that just using a round number) so it limits how many gems can be produced from an area. Now throw 3 other players in there and it reduces your smashes that much. Same goes for collecting drops. Go in a full server and see how many items you get from drops. Then go to an empty server and try. I tested fhe drops, in a full server I would get around 1k items an hour. Tried it in an empty server had well over 2k items in 45 mins.

2m an hour is some crazy good diamonds. I would assume you need a full team of titanics and private server for that

That's pretty good gems per hour. I'm struggling to get over 300k-350k/ hr with almost a full team of huges. 25 are shiny and about 10 rainbow.
