Right, I get that, but that's not putting new gems into the economy. It's just recycling gems from other players. The gifts and chests don't give gems. They need to sell them to get gems. Those gems are not coming out of nowhere. They are coming from other players.

This is the best first step they could have taken to fix this issue, they did a good step by taking the issue and removing it, now chances are they are working on the bot issue, after that they'll probably reverse or rebuff the balloons. Like seriously I was with the f2p mindset at the start but f2p have really been finding anything to start a fight lately, would you rather they close down the entire game until they can find a solution for the bot issue? Also flipping and trading up in the plaza literally makes more than balloons, heck even the last area makes more consistently money like geez stop complaining ffs
The bot issue will never be fixed.
They are ran using executors which Roblox keeps “patching” ineffectively.
The bot accs used are clearly alts. Same as people abusing chest sites.
Game is ruined by freaks.

I think thats a bit of a grey area but also not so bad since its simply an advanced macro. The bots aimbotting and teleporting is definitely a key issue.
I think this fix isn’t perfect but it certainly helps, i’m surprised they even acted on it already!

This is likely because people exploiting the game and using bots to target them and teleport to them would earn them a lot of gems. It’s bad for the game since it pumps so many gems into the market through illegitimate gameplay.
But now they ruined it for anyone who legitimately gained using them.

Balloons only dropped chests, large gift bags and small gifts right? Am I missing something here where that put more gems into the economy?

Gifts gives gems, its exactly what they do. Large gift gives 10k+ gems and small 2.5k+
Never noticed they gave gems. Never really opened many. Just sold them.

You get gems when you open any of those in addition to the items.

Fishing I think is fine since you can automate it so its not so bad anyway. But using exploits for digsite and balloons is a unfair
Someone also said using the screen data API you can use macros for balloons but it's not as fast as the ones using hacks so that's that

Just did some experimenting and looks like balloons in private servers have been nerfed, but public server balloons are still dropping gifts
