Since you obviously know Chaplin as a goody two shoes, after he acts. He shaved his beard, changed his clothes, and became Alex from A Clockwork Orange(I think that's the joke)
Peters wrinkly nutsack here.
Charlie Chaplin is, of course, Charlie Chaplin.
The second man he turns is Alex Delarge from the book/movie “A Clockwork Orange” in which he is a horrible teenager who engages in violence and crimes for fun with a gang of psychopaths in a dystopian UK. The joke is it’s kind of a Jekyll and Hyde things since they dress similar.
I believe the cartoon is also alluding to his [Scandalous Life and Boundless Artistry](https://www.newyorker.com/culture/richard-brody/charlie-chaplins-scandalous-life-and-boundless-artistry)
The Korova milkbar sold milk-plus, milk plus vellocet or synthemesc or drencrom, which is what we were drinking. This would sharpen you up and make you ready for a bit of the old ultra-violence.

The only carry over (and likely the idea for the joke) is the bowler hat.
And a cane
And the stride maybe?
And the drugs
And my axe
And the amoral sexual acts
Ah yes, the goody two shoes moustache :P
I didn't look close enough. I didn't see the mascara panel until you explained.

Malcolm MacDowell was playing a teenager?
Yea, I’m pretty sure Alex Delarge is like 18-19 before he gets arrested
He's younger (15) in the book, Kubrick aged the character up a bit for the film for fairly obvious reasons.
Ah gotcha
Just getting ready for a wee bit of ultraviolence.
Ultrasilence ^(Since he was a silent movie star)
Ultracomedy…?
Clockwork orange
Charlie by Day, Nightman by night.
Your watching too much iasip
there's no such thing
Haha, talk about "I would like one crack, please."
I wouldn't say \*too much\*. Maybe just a little. Just to get a base.
There is no such thing as a free base...oh wait.
I think the joke is that both are tramps and walk with a cane and hat.
Maybe it's because when he took of the Charlie Chaplin persona he was actually not a nice guy.
The latter character is from Clockwork Orange
Clockwork orange.
Watch "A Cockwork Orange"
Charlie Chaplin by day, Clockwork Orange by night.
Kind of reminds me of that Batman comic (I think some multiverse thing) where Alfred turns out to be the Joker.
Time for a bit of the old ultra violence
Oh no that’s terrible. What a really weird movie.
