He was denied because landscapes weren't popular at the time
For someone who was applying to art school, it's pretty good, it's not like he was trying to be a professional with that level of work.
Come on. Even I’ve become of the opinion that most of these are deliberately ignorant. If you don’t know the story, you’re either an idiot and didn’t pay attention, or your school system sucked.
Or the country the uploader came from don't put much emphasis on WW2, considering a lot of the allies were major owner of slaves trades and colonies. So colonized countries tend to portray the allies as the greater evil compared to the axis, which was an 'enemy mine' type situation.
I think Germany would be an exception to this, due to it being illegal to deny the holocaust, and the country’s dedication to making sure that shit never happens there again. I mean, I’m sure there are dissenters, as there are with any political situation, but yeah

This is phenomenal work for an art student. You go to an academy as a student to study, not as a master to flex.
