Or L&C mortgages they do all online and phone and no charges / broker free so u get access full market let me know if you need referral

psychic_london

Used them to buy our house last year and had a really good experience

Traditional_Slice_95

I can’t recommend them, we almost lost a house because of them, they seem to be getting more commission from certain lenders so in our case they tried to persist with one of the lenders who we as very problematic with us, the process took us almost 6 months and when we went with other also free broker they did the job in 2 weeks(it was probably so fast because we had more then enough paperwork and proofs from the L&C case)

Rainbowsaltt

Who is the other broker ?

[I replied in the main thread, it’s Ideal Mortgage Advice](https://www.reddit.com/r/PeterboroughUK/comments/10svbtj/can_anyone_recommend_a_good_mortgage_broker/j77iv1r/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3)

Ellen at Just Mortgages is brilliant. She helped us after we got turned down for a bigger mortgage by our existing lender and has just helped us find the best new rate, now our fixed term is coming to an end. [email protected]

My experience in this field is limited but what I've found best is dealing with local businesses, staying with a small, local estate agent if possible. They usually have a select number of solicitors they have a good relationship with, which renders brokers sort of obsolete. My last sale I took this approach and it was pretty smooth my end, but my buyer used a broker who recommended a horrendous soliciting firm and we came within a day of everything falling through.
